WTF was up with those bitches grilling the hippy mom. They weren't acting very Christian!

I really hated the way they previewed the crazy lady's eruption as if it were coming up, then at the end they turned around and said "coming next week"...wtf is that? At least that's what i gathered...I was flipping between poker and this.

:lol @ the dad "I've only been with one woman.... its best to just do what she says."

Fuckin' pussy. Not surprised tho, a woman like that would need someone with no balls to wait on her hand and foot.

Also, am I the only one who finds it funny that she is a GodWarrior, yet she seems to have no problem with her daughter having a kid despite being apparently unmarried?

Poor Brooke though :( I wanna call her and tell her "Its ok, most of the world is sane you'll be free one day..."

Man, this episode paints Christians in a pretty bad light. I mean, I'm not saying it's faked or anything, but it's a terrible representation.

I disagree, I think it is good representation of godidiots i.e sky fairy worshipers, i.e god believers.

I'm watching Waterboy right now, the woman on Trading Spouses is exactly like Bobby's mom in this movie.

Bobby: Mama, Vicky is an astrologist.
Mama: I don't believe in that astronomy stuff. It's one of the many tools of the devil.

:lol

that's a pretty ignorant thing to say. there are plenty of religious people who believe in God and don't act like that.

The thing that bothered me the most is the Jesus freak's friends. They all moved so quickly to categorize the hippy chick so they could attack her. Even if she doesn't believe as you do and you think that's a sin, what happened to loving the sinner and hating the sin? Religion is a clique for these people, a means to exclude everyone they deem not worthy. I don't know what God they believe in, but it ain't a loving God.

As for Jesus freak herself, religion is a crutch for her to not have to deal with the real world. Any time something didn't fit her world view, it was 'not of God' or 'dark-sided'. She's made it this far in life without ever being challenged in her beliefs, and we're seeing the results. Its fucking sad.

What's even fucking sadder is that these people vote.

I watched it last night with the wife and couldn't help but shake our heads and laugh at the monstorously fat, gaptoothed, mouth breathing, hypociritcal religious zealot.

A big part of being a Christian is NOT JUDGING OTHERS. And thats the first thing she did, she tried to find "EVIL" in everything they did. Her reactions (or over reactions) just scream of a sheltered life and narrow minded existence. It's sad really how insane some of the overly religious people can be.

Perhaps she should have been more accepting of other's beliefs. Hell, she couldn't even get HER OWN RIGHT.

"God died on the cross, etc, etc"

Hey genius, Jesus died on the cross. Jesus wasn't God, he was the divine SON OF GOD.
My wife just looked at me and shook er head when she said that.

all that being said I can't wait to see the utter meltdown next week.

That bugged me to no end. They outright ATTACKED that woman. What f she was a Jew or Muslim, etc. Would their reactions have been the same? NEWSFLASH BIBLE BELTERS! NOT EVERYONE BELIEVES IN YOUR VERSION OF RELIGION!

As for the "crutch" comment, I agree completely.. As I said she's had a sheltered and narrow minded existence.

If anything I feel bad for her kids. But part of me wonders, how the fuck can that beast even have sex to produce those kids? Just think of the logistic mechanics of it....

Sorry if this has already been brought up but I am fairly sure that if you are schizophrenic you can at times smell things that are not actually around. It would fit in with god talking to her as well as her fear of forces invading her body.
That's exactly what I was saying while watching that part of the show. She needs intense hypnotherapy.

Or punched in the fucking mouth.

Maybe it'll inspire her to see a dentist about getting that gap fixed.

and I try not to judge, but when you act like an ass on national TV, you've opened yourself up like a $2 dollar whore on the 1st and 15th - Fatty McJesus needs to lay off the carbs. Gluttony is a sin, too, Chunky.

After she freaked about being "confronted" with the gay psychic and demanded for someone to find her a church I was hoping someone would drive her here:

I watched it.

First off, on the radio calls, those who listen to loveline should be used to this kind of format and openness from the callers.

What bothered me the most is that the Hambeast really didn't understand what it was to be a Christian. I mean, the reaction to the gay Psychic just freaked her out. But if she was such a warrior for god she would try to influence people or at least convey her beliefs. No, she just freaks out and makes it all about her and how everyone else is bad.

She pampers her husband, obviously, by the lack of his will to try vanilla soy like it was goat piss or something.

I wish everybody but the hambeast the best.

What about how the Hambeast forces her children to rub her down daily while she shovels in bon-bons? That's just sick.

Hey genius, Jesus is God, in Christianity. The father, son, and holy spirit are the same person. They are all God.

Found this at another forum:
Just went to the Fox website and there's a post on the message board with over 300 replies on it re:last nite's show...one of Margarete's "friends" tried defending her b4 the show aired and she's gettin "nailed to the cross" ever since...(but she seems to be back-pedalling now, seeing all the negative replies to her "friend")

Can anyone find a direct link to that? I went to the Fox site at http://www.fox.com/tradingspouses/ but the Boards link is not working.

True. However, saying that Jesus, God, and the "Holy Spirit" are the same "person" only confuses people, including most Christians. I'd say most Christians are either confused tritheists (like the hambeast last night) or radical monotheists (Arianism).

It's better to think, I believe, that you have the Word as Jesus. That makes more sense to me. As the Word incarnate, it's easy to think of the Word and the Father as one on the same because, otherwise, we tend to think of two related HUMANS being in one body. Jesus was divine because he was the incarnate form of the Word, not because he was physically born of "God's" semen.

I tend to like to be heretical here. Sibellianism (God I can't spell it) is my favorite. I tend to think of each person as a "persona" through which we understand one ultimate being. It's unfortunate the early church went on a heresy-declaring rampage because I think this one had a shot.

wierd how ppl believe in a word that's not even mentioned once in the bible..heck, even the bible contradicts it. but we're talking bout hambeast right now.

Pretty sure the Trinity being a single entity is just a Catholic thing, which she isn't.
