Killer Freaks from Outer Space
Shown off at E3 2011 it would become Zombi U. Freaks was a comedy horror game with a narrating protagonist and enemies who were essentially evil, mutant Rabbids. They were also aliens but the regular Rabbids could be aliens too.
The multiplayer mode they showed off remained in Zombi U.
There was actually a playable demo.
Which had this happen:

That may not actually be dead. Kazuma Kujo purchased the Disaster Report franchise from Irem, and he's expressed interest in continuing Bumpy Trot. So we could definitely see that down the line.

My pick for this thread are any incarnations of Resident Evil/Biohazard 3.5...at least ones shown publicly. There was an unseen version with traditional zombies that I'd like to see one day...in some kind of leak or something perhaps. My very username, ProgenitorCastle, is heavily inspired by Resident Evil/Biohazard 3.5...I still love what I've seen of the game...and wish somehow some kind of version of it comes out

I was really looking forward to this game. The multiplayer integration sounded cool, and the gameplay looked awesome for the time, guess we got something similar gameplay-wise with Dishonored eventually.
Cosmic Walker for Wii, developed by Gaia. The last consumer game project that Cozy Okada, father of Shin Megami Tensei, was associated with.
I remember being really impressed by this when I first saw this, but now I gotta say it looks pretty lame.
