Reports are that Train Your Brain 1 and Brain Flex will be released in June right after an E3 debut. If all goes well Nintendo will bring over Train Your Brain 2.

i'd buy this, just to see what the fuss is all about
i've seen japanese screens and it looks like an interesting way to pass the time...

I'll be super surprised if this does well in the West. REALLY surprised.

The games come off the back off a really popular book, totally unheard of over here right?

I hope this piece of software is only 20 bucks. This is the max I'll spend for Brain Training. Shouldn't be any more.

Really the selling factor for me is how difficult these questions will be, any word at about "what level" these questions are?

folks, i know this is absolutely the wrong place to ask but i couldn't find the answer
what's the process to become a gaf member? it says i'm a junior member and i couldn't start a new thread (i had questions about a ds game)...

No no, being nice all the time is no fun. It's making sure not to piss off the wrong people (or group of people in many cases).

Thats what I meant. Who doesn't like bashing Advent Rising for instance?
And yeah, this should definitely be 20 dollars, I don't think anyboy would except a 30 dollar text/brain trainer.

Count me out. Years of typing (aside from signing my signature) have left my writing (and non-existant drawing) skills in the can. I'd need a Train Your Hands before I could ever hope to not suck at something like this. :lol

its not about difficulty, its about speed. Its not a trivia game as it is puzzles and math.

Is it wrong that this is one of my most anticipated "games" because I want to have faster thinking skills for school? :(

I'm in the same boat. I can't even play Kirby :(

well I did beat Kirby anyways but I couldn't help but feel it was more difficult then it had to be.

I have the Japan version but I'll be re-buying this again when it hits America as long as they keep the budget price. I'm curious what they'll use to replace the kana games, and I could never bother to do the reading sections because of all the unfamiliar vocab I'd come across. It's a great little game for anyone who enjoys IQ/math puzzles

I seem to recall hearing that the polygonal Japanese guy's head had been removed from the US version. Glad to see that that's not the case.

I can imagine half of American gamers heading to GameFAQs to solve tough questions like this one. :lol

I couldn't help myself not to blurt out in laughter. :lol And yeah, a March release has been stated by NOE, and from my understanding it would be called differently. Not just Brain Training or Train Your Brain. Prof. Kawashima's Brain Training : How old is your brain? is the long and tedious European name, but I could be wrong though.

That thought actually came across my mind when I saw that pick. But you know what, we should look at this in a positive way. With all this media attention on saleing violent games to kids and the supposed idea that videogames leads to acts of extreme harm and such, it's a good point for our side to show off a game like this.

NOA is calling them Brain Age and Brain Flex.
NOE only lists Brain Training.
NOAu lists Prof. Kawashima's Brain Training; How old is your brain?

I am an American and I'm very patriotic, but Americans are notoriously stupid when it comes to Geography. Google "Americans and geography" for a shitload of articles.

Jeez. Don't blame me because the country is self-centered.
