I just saw my old University in the Star Trek spot. At :20 that building is the Cal State Northridge Library. Thats pretty cool.

I have no knowledge about GI Joe at all, but that part when they are jumping through the bus, flipping over missles, and this pic sold me on that movie.

I accept paypal.

I like how the one has no regard for public safety or property and just jumps right fucking through the bus. What an asshole.

What in the HELL is that?

Supposedly it's a BAGGER 288 rotating shovel, but we really know it's the chassis for a new Panzer X design.

History/Discovery/NatGeo had some neat specials on it.

That's all the trailers? I want some Terminator & Avatar, dammit.

pretty sure there's a Terminator trailer coming later today. Avatar... it's not until December so I'm not sure if they have anything ready for that yet.

Kinda funny there isn't going to be a Dragonball trailer. Fox doesn't want to dump that kind of money on advertising it. :lol

Here are my (worthless) thoughts on the trailers.

GI Joe - Looks absolutely ridiculous. Yet strangely compelling. I think I'm just disappointed because the scene with the Eifel Tower being destroyed didn't look as laughable as I was told.

Star Trek - Meh. As much as I love Trek I can't decide how to feel about this film yet.... despite the fact I'll be there regardless come opening weekend.

It just irked me when the trailer said 'The Future Begins'. They might as well have an announcer say "...you know Batman Begins? That's kind of what we're going for..." It's probably (almost certainly is) just me though.

Transformers 2 - Loved the opening shot. The destruction of the aircraft carrier really popped. And then.... I think I must have blacked out from all the sensory overload because I came too and the trailer had finished. The Superbowl audience are going to eat this up.

Land Of The Lost - Who is the audience for this movie? I ask because clearly the trailer doesn't. It looks quite interesting but all I could think of was that Brendan Fraser Journey 3D movie from last summer. That movie was a hit. I highly doubt this one will be.

GI Joe looks absolutely horrible. Costumes are cool but the cg is outrageous.

plus, not enough manly shit. Seriously, where's the facial hair or gruff voices? Or real stunts for that matter. As a kid Transformers, GI Joe, and Voltron were my holy trinity. One has already been shit canned, looks like GI Joe is going to suffer the same fate.

Action packed Transformers trailer but it's going to be a POS like the first one

Ok, so I just got those 3D glasses.
Is there like a website with 3D stuff to look at with them?

G.I. Joe looks much cooler than I thought it'd be. I'm sure the movie will be absolutely stupid, but at least the action scenes look cool. Would probably be a cool IMAX viewing.

I thought it kicked ass as stepping stool for this future evolving tech. I started envisioning hand drawn 2D scrollers and platformers having a comeback with this depth perception. I'm surprised they cant take these glasses into some type of screen film that could go over the DS screens or something. At this point I am fulling expecting the next handhelds to do something.

Honestly.. all those trailers were pretty meh looking.

I had higher hopes for Year One (have heard its terrible from screenings too). We'll see how that turns out. Also, I had high hopes for UP too and .. again we'll see on that.
The other ones are CGI filled bad acting fests.

It's sad how true the rumors seem to be with GI Joe. It really does look like Team America without the humor or irony.

See: total shit.

Up was more or less the same trailer. Its pixar so it has my money either way

Transformers, I'm excited. Trailer looked awesome. I do wish I could tell the difference between most of the bots

Star Trek...I think the show and the movies were shit. But this is compelling me some how

GI Joe, You know, I wanna see it just to hear go Joe anyways :lol

F/F IV, Trailer was meh, But I'll probably bite when it comes out.

Year One, You manage to combine to of the most unfunny people in Hollywood. Cera and Black. Oh man that is going be enjoyable...But Rudd gave me hope.

None of the trailers really wowed me.

....

i thought it looked really bad, the colors were off and the 3d barely held up.

You actually used the glasses under your current glasses not over? This is still low tech 3D but depth was still great. I guess those that can't can always criteek! :D

First Transformers was great, but Revenge of the Fallen is just going to be absolutely amazing from the looks of it. Can't wait.

I did not get a Star Trek feel from the Star Trek Trailer... I got more of a Lost in Space the Movie feel ...

Also Gi-Joe Also didn't seem like G(I-Joe to me it was more like a super hero type thing..

but i liked them

This is what slow motion was made for, director's take note.

That yellow taxi cab...:lol INSTANT EXPLOSION. All that fucking detail in the robots and the explosion and the bridge flying apart....and the taxi cab is what they skimped on:lol

Same here. It's part of the reason why I don't think I will like it. It's a big-budget popcorn flick ala Trek.

Missed the TF2 trailer due to removal by paramount's order on youtube.

^^^^ NM. Thanks to the person above me for the link.

Star Trek.... It didn't sit right with me for some reason. These actors are too damn young imo.

i think the cg in that transformers teaser looks too clean--it looks like cg for a big budget videogame or something. they should make it look a bit dirtier. same with the g.i. joe bit.

It irked me even more because that was originally Terminator Salvation's subtitle about a year ago. Although I'm glad they dropped it, doesn't feel right having Star Trek use it...

Which reminds me, is T4 getting one of these? And since the OP brought up Avatar I'd like to finally see what that's all about.
