Ken Jeong in DoTM, what an abomination of a performance.
I suppose you can't cast 100% of the blame on him, given what he's working with, but still, have some self-respect man.
It'll be awesome if they managed to pull off a redemption arc for Optimus with the new trilogy with him coming to the realization that the Quintessons tinkering has been responsible for his increased violence in the first few films. Ultimately resulting in him turning away from violence and becoming a heroic Optimus for the first time.
If they take anything from Prime it should be the incredibly satisfying way it ended.So... who wants to bet on them taking a page out of Transformers Prime's book, and the centre of the Earth is Unicron or some shit?
There are far superior alternatives ya knowThese movies are.. Not good.
But my friends and I will continue to see them in theatres regardless.
He's in this and his design is crap, even by BayFormer standards. Looks like the result of an computer algorithm which browses a library of car images, randomly mashes them together into humanoid templates and spews out 100,000 an hour, then Michael Bay picked out the least interesting one he could find.
yup, another transformers trailer where i have no idea what the hell is going on.
That would somewhat redeem the series in my eyes.
I mean the final scene of the third one was him going full on murder. He's never seemed like a hero in the films.
Maybe the film was like that before a rewrite.Just want to add the novel ending was completely different.
And better.

I can't get over how hilarious it is that Optimus is dead in space. Why did he even fly up there in the first place if he can't survive in space? What was he thinking? "OHFUCKOHFUCKOHFUCK how do I turn these rockets off?"
In all honesty. I hate the Movie's portrayal of Optimus. He's very... brutal, and even tyrannical at times. He isn't very... how do you say.... optimistic? I wouldn't even call him selfless.

One of my favorite things about the Transformers movies is that Michael Bay's idea of a righteous hero is also a total sociopath.
It's pretty obvious which character Hopkins is (see leak spoiler thread), and you can pretty much assemble the first half from there. Well, at least Hopkins won't be utterly wasted then. I do have a certain... sensitive disposition towards these Ford jokes though. Keep 'em coming, this new narrative seems promising.
Optimus somehow dead / Nemesis'ed. How did he die? He just flew into space last time. Learn to fly, you murderous jackass.
Oh, that's the ending shot, isn't it? Ha, Optimus dies. Good riddance.
also: What the fucking hell @ actual Metal Gear in there.
Somebody actually read the novelization of Michael Bay's Transformers. Holy shit.
Trailers usually don't have a plot.WTF is going on in this trailer? Is there even a plot?

I mean, it could be worse.Of course a GAFer has a copy of a Transformers movie novelisation. Christ.
Goddamnit I wish I didn't know this reference.I mean, it could be worse.
He could be a sister fucker.

The worst part is, this is only like one of at least 3 different users and that's excluding EightbitnateWell with statutory rape already covered, I think I smell the next Bayformers human subplot.

I think it all stems from the original film, and all the fan criticism Bay got for making Optimus a total pushover. Got his ass whooped by Megatron, and had to rely on Sam to save everyone.
Has Bay ever made a movie that isn't an allegory for the armed forces?
to get back on topic, thought this trailer looked kinda cool. was the last movie any good?
