how does this place compare to IN n out
Huh, I thought the opposite when I went a few months back. Average burger, amazing shake. I yet to try In N Out, but I like Five Guys better than SS
What the heck is that thing on the left

My favorite fast food, actually probably the only actual fast food I eat these days.
Their chicken sandwich is amazing too.
If your shake was "just OK" I think something went wrong, they're usually incredible. The beer, though, really is "just OK."
It's much better than In-N-Out but it's also roughly 3x the cost so that's not a fair fight.
Tasty food, too expensive.
I know there are a couple Shake Shacks around ATL now, both have solid but not spectacular ratings on Yelp.
My girl and I went to Bareburger recently and it was like a thousand dollars.
I didn't think it was any better than SS or 5guys. Which are better than fast food for sure but nothing amazing.
In-N-Out and Shake Shack are completely different, so comparing them doesn't make much sense. One is fast food the other is fast casual.
In-N-Out gets you the best <$5 burger you can get, but it's obviously not going to be a fair fight with a $6-8 burger.
i was shocked to find out that americans drink milk shakes to their hamburgers/meals.
Best cheese fries.
I still think Shake Shack is tastier.
On that basis alone I judge accordingly.
What part of the cow does Angus come from? Isn't that just a market term
Okay, never really seen anyone dispute that.

Gourmet Burger Kitchen do better burgers. Shake Shack is overpriced, average garbage.
Are you deliberately playing into the GAF "Americans do ____" meme or...?i was shocked to find out that americans drink milk shakes to their hamburgers/meals.

Here we go with the hyperbolic speak. Alrighty then.
"Garbage."

In-N-Out gets you the best <$5 burger you can get, but it's obviously not going to be a fair fight with a $6-8 burger. Though I haven't actually had Shake Shack. Smashburger, Steak 'n Shake, and Five Guys are all pretty good in my experience though.
