Triforce Johnson: The world's most patient gamer [Polygon article]

I just finished King of Chinatown. I still think FGC is a bunch of weird kids trying to act street but I have a small amount of respect for Triforce now. I like what he had to say about being in control of your own destiny.

Eh, that seems to be more east coast. A lot of the west coast stuff is considerably more laid back.

You're generalizing, but yeah if your not used to NYC lingo then I guess you would get that impression.

Really good article/feature, but the title is really bad and not representative of the article or even just the Wii U part. Would even be a better if it focused on his obsession.

ATTENTION EVERYBODY - THIS IS A FACT.
Problem is for some people, you just don't know until you experience it. Until then you feel like you are missing something. Like putting the pussy on a pedestal. Until you have experienced this stuff you feel you are not getting everything you should be. I actually got depressed a few times until I met my girlfriend. And after the initial 6 month honeymoon period, it wasn't that big of a deal anymore. But for me, I know that had I not had that experience, I'd still be a depressed slump of a man worrying that I'd die alone.

Okay, back to on topic. Sorry. Just got off work.

I think the fact that he expects a job with nintendo is the most delusional part of this whole thing.

I agree.

So buying consoles and being a fan qualifies you to work at said company? With all the respect to that guy, there is really nothing special about the documentary or his life story.

Article presentation is great though, they should have just done that covering the launch as a whole at nintendo NYC store.
