Hot and Cold was great. I liked the music that would play too.Tkawsome said:If we're just talking about FF mini games now, the Hot/Cold Chocobo game in IX was probably my favorite in the series.

Combichristoffersen said:Agreed. Triple Triad was, like everything else in FF VIII, shit. Tetra Master, on the other hand, was actually fun.
PetriP-TNT said:There was this erm.... unofficial web-based version, Triple Triad Online, that had all the cards from FFVIII and had cards for stuff like all the other FF's, Chrono Trigger/Cross, Secret Of Mana and other Squaresoft franchises too. If I remember right, every game earned you some money to buy some new cards (random boosters) and you could also play for cards (either your whole hand or just one card). All the TT rules where there too and tournaments and such.
It was pretty good and I can't believe S-E hasn't made a new version of it, best minigame ever. I totally sucked on the web thing though, my win/loss ratio was like 0.1 because the learning curve was so high.

They need that, for Triple Triad, on PSN.
I'd even let them DLC-goldmine it with optional "deck" releases for, say, FF1-13 characters/creatures.
Give us a nice world full of people to play cards at, Triple Triad style. With "gyms", tournaments and the lot.
Best thing was I didn't know about it until my third playthrough and always went back to that dude in the pub in Timber who always wanted to play cards even if you pressed X._dementia said:pressing square next to NPCs was like, the best thing about FF8
it wasn't so bad for me, but I didn;t realize until LATE in my first playthrough.Teetris said:Cause they're idiots now?
