Holy crap this show stinks. My wife decided to get into it and has for the last few weeks filled my netflix queue with this garbage as she tries to catchup. >:(

Judging by your taste in TV it's obviously pretty worthless to ask for pics of your wife, because she's obviously hideous.

this weeks episode was all over the place.. I think the show will get better once this mass mind control thing is over. What the hell kind of power does Sookie really have? I hope shes not going to start shooting beams of light out of her hands to kill demons all the time now.

Cheese and camp was cranked up to 11 in that scene with Jason and the flares.

hahah okay I'm glad i'm not the only one that noticed.

I really liked this episode, though I think we're seeing a sort of failing of the structure of the season, because the show is having to have essentially two climaxes. It had the one in the Fellowship church and then it had the resolution following that climax, and now it's having to ramp up to another climax and resolution - that can be somewhat difficult to do for a TV audience.

One thing I'd have liked to have seen in the Maryanne story arc was the intervention of Eric's subordinates. Since they apparently stayed behind and didn't go to Austin you'd think they'd be getting wind of the goings-on in the town.

I wouldn't even describe tonight's episode as "fun", but as supremely creepy. I know it's campy fun and all, but the siege at Merlotte's with all those lunatics was pretty friggin menacing and weird (and I mean this in the best way possible).

Also the Tara exorcism scene I thought was exceptionally well done.

I really have no business posting in this thread, but I kept hearing about how good this show is so I just picked up season 1 on blu-ray. On the third episode right now, it's pretty good so far. Sounds like you guys are enjoying season 2 so far, that's good to hear.

To be fair, this show's harder to watch then Lost if you jump right in. Without the mythos and characters, the show seems just like camp and hilarious dialogue.

I mean, hell, I laughed as much at the Jason scene as I did with it. :lol And that's the point.

Man the keep reeling off the good episodes. Everything involving Tara continues to be awful, but the Andy and Sam show was good.

Terry the awesome leader of the hornballs is great.

That was hilariously awesome. Jason with the flares was cracking me up, and there was a lot of tension during the siege of Merlotte's and the exorcism. Creepy. Looking forward to the next few weeks.

two more episodes and season 2 is over :/ They kept Maryanne on the back burner for too long, can they really squeeze a full scale battle in these last few hours? Unless the plan is to trick or bribe Maryanne to make her forget Sam...

Pretty good episode tonight. Not the best of the season, but definitely not the worst. Please fucking die already Maryann.

Edit: Also looks like Jessica and Hoyts relationship is about to end.

I thought the game they were playing was The Grinder at first. LOL at teh Wii placement though. I didn't know that Bill had a TV and a Wii.

The whole Jason thing during the episode was just kinda silly, but fun. Made me think 80's horror flick for some reason.

& whats with the missing 10-15 minutes? I hope they make next ep that much longer or add it back into the s2 finale. I feel robbed.

Jeebus, this show reminds me of a WoD game I was running years ago:
Hilarious and brilliant and a complete monster mashup fueled by drugs and alcohol.
