He gets paid to wear fake fangs so a terrible wig shouldn't be an issue.
No, he really didn't like that wig. It was enough to get it written out.

Didn't they make a glaring continuity error? In 1901 Eric should have had long hair, right? Because once a vampire's hair is cut it doesn't grow back according to the show.
Btw, do you guys think Lilith is still alive? At first I thought she would be revealed in this episode, when the council did that ceremony, but I guess I missunderstood.
How old would she be?
Older than 3000 year old Russel then but how much?
Well, if she's supposed to be God's creation, she'd likely be around the oldest human remains that are known to humankind, at least. But lke Wuvcraft said, I doubt she's around! I would assume that someone that much older than Godric would turn to dust with just the faintest ray of sunlight, anyway. The closest we'll ever get to a vampire God is Godric. We're not gonna see Lilith.
Me neither. I get it that sometimes the writers are mean to her and she goes into her "I'm sad" mode, but c'mon, it's not like she's had it easy.I still don't understand why everyone hates Tara and I hope she gets past this rabies thing soon.
Really enjoyed the episode! I'm liking how season 5 is turning. The whole Authority stuff is really interesting, and I really like Salome, the character. I think there's more to her than meets the eye!
Loving also the Nora-Eric-Bill situation, they're in it together and they are always better when they work together than when they fight. Now that the Authority knows about Russel (and him regaining his powers), I wonder how they will succeed in catching him. Last time it took tricks and sacrifices, so surely Russel won't be so trusting this time.
I feel bad for Tara. ): I didn't want her to die either, but I think this will just make it unbearable for her. Hopefully she manages to turn this into her strength, and maybe reconcile with her friends. Also, I hope Lafayette gets over his guilt, both from Jesús and Tara.
Wonder how the Debbie-Alcide-Sook will be resolved!
Pam scenes were great, as always!

I'm very happy that the A Plot in this show is no longer the A Plot.
Russel is. Godric around 2,100 years old. Russell is closer to 3,000.Who's older Godrick or Russell?
Man, I'm back in love with True Blood.
Caught up.
Last week's episode was pretty bland, but I'm grateful because it gave us the best thing ever.

They'll have her drive a taxi.I also wonder if Lilith will ever actually be a character in the show or just someone that will forever remain a worshipped being.

Another really solid episode. So far S5 is 2/2.
It's pretty glaring how many more notches the Authority stuff is over the other plotlines. I really hope they deliver on that stuff this season in spades. Vampire Oenomaus is awesome!
Also, I really really want to see Lilith next season.
Fangs are digital so...He gets paid to wear fake fangs so a terrible wig shouldn't be an issue.
Agree with general consensus of the thread.
Fingers crossed that they don't introduce a new type of creature this season..
Don't click, this is a spoiler related to a statement made by the previous poster.
How about this season instead?
I'm already AMAZED they didn't turn Tara into a zombie, specially after all the necromancing during the previous season.
They already had zombies in season 2.

Those didn't count. Actually they'd be Bacchanalians. Alan Ball has said no zombies. Who knows what will happen when he leaves though.
Bacchanawhosits are essentially zombies though. Not flesh eating Walking Dead types but close enough. I don't think they'd feel the need to do that sort of thing again.
I don't agree at all. Zombies are mindless undead creatures that exist only to consume flesh. The people as depicted in season two weren't like that at all.

I meant that there are different kinds of zombies. For instance, wikipedia says "The term is often figuratively applied to describe a hypnotized person bereft of consciousness and self-awareness, yet ambulant and able to respond to surrounding stimuli." That's what I meant. I know that that's not the popular description of what a zombie is, thanks to Romero, but that's what came to mind.
But they were self aware.
Whatever I Am, You Made Me
Bill and Eric must barter with the head of the Vampire Authority for their lives; Sookie asks for Pam's help; Andy gets a visit from Gordon and Barbara Pelt; Jason reunites with his former high school teacher.
The only Lilith that matters:

She's behind those doors that they authority were praying too.
