Biden could have won this thing easily. I think he just waited too late to decide to enter the race, but I definitely see him beating Hillary and certain he could destroy Trump. People across the aisle like Biden more than either of the candidates running.

Man it amazes me how people can think Warren is terrible communicator. That speech (and today in general) has gotten me more fired up than anything I have seen this cycle. And not to be inflammatory, but if Bernie had ever given a speech on that level I think I would may have been swayed by him

First time I've heard Warren give a speech. The last time I've seen her on tv was The Daily Show way back when(yea, I don't pay much attention to politics) and she sounded much better there. I didn't expect such an overt rhetorician's delivery and inflection, it undermines what she has to say. Like when she's trying to sell the audience on this judge, I don't know how she doesn't have the self awareness to understand that such an ingratiating tone is an invitation to dismiss an argument outright.

I think quite the opposite, she gives ALL the fucks. Every decent person in America should give them as well when someone like Trump is at risk of being president. Every time she opens her mouth you can just feel how much she loves this country and how fiercely she will work to protect it. Awesome.

It goes to show that Clinton's surrogates are a lot more scary than Trump's. It also helps that she has the last two Democratic presidents firmly in her corner while the last two Republican presidents wish that Trump would get hit by a bus. I also think that Clinton is going to treat Trump as a threat all the way to the election even though he really doesn't have much chance against her.
They haven't even countered Clinton's foreign policy speech from over a week ago. They'll say stuff against Clinton, but it'll probably be things that we've been hearing for years so it won't have much effect.

There's no reason to go down with that ship. I guarantee you most of the GOP leadership is hoping that Hillary wins - not openly, but in private (can't be perceived as being against the will of the people after all) - because a Trump victory creates more chaos and harm than a Hillary victory.
