Warren and Biden just laid the fucking smack down on him.

Hillary slaying on Twitter

Obama is cracking his knuckles on the sideline, itching to piledrive this motherfucker into the ground.

i don't even have a reaction image to describe how good this feels.

seriously, i know obama's all like "this isn't reality tv", but i can't help but be immensely entertained. it's going to be absolutely brutal

Trump is going to continue to get embarrassed for months. Get ready for hurt feelings and sad days from your racist coworkers and relatives.

Watched these both today... Incredible speeches. It is encouraging to see that, now that the race has been decided for the Democrats, they are going to really start pulling out all of the stops to keep this racist fuck from having a chance.

Not from America, but I genuinly hope Trump gets absolutely destroyed during the elections. Dude is the embodiment of sleezynes and rampant corporate greed.

Wow, bravo!

Even as a non US citizen, Trump is scary.
He's like the incarnation of all the bad aspects of US that have been giving the country a terrible reputation abroad. Even though these are generalizations that don't apply to a vast number of people, seeing bigotry, racism, lunacy, idiocy, tyranny and values of money over morals be given such a big voice and getting close to leading the most powerful and influential country in the world is scary. Very scary.

This is what the GOP has been building up to, the crystallization of the ignorance bred by the rich and powerful who want to maintain the status quo and yet, he runs as this breath of fresh air who fights against the establishment.

Years ago, I though it couldn't get any worse than so many voting for an ignorant buffoon like Bush Jr, how wrong I was!

I'm not from the US so haven't been following all that closely, what does Trump think the judge has to be ashamed of exactly? Being of Mexican descent?

It's like the fucking Justice League finally arrived to put smack-down on the evil villain.
It was so damn good yesterday.
Hope has come to save us all.

What a time to be alive.

U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel was nominated by Obama. Strike one.

Because Trump wants to build a wall between the US and Mexico, he thinks this American judge cannot be partial in a case that has nothing to do with Mexico, a judge who has been put on a hit list by the Cartels, who has put criminals behind bars and thus has done far more for this country than Trump ever will.
This judge who had been appointed by Republican Arnold Schwarzenegger to the California superior court and called him an "American hero."

And this judge, who cannot respond due to judicial ethics rules, will not be intimidated by bully thin-skinned Trump.

I mean come on Trump.

Sen. Blumenthal, a Connecticut Democrat, suggests Curiel takes a more measured view of his current role.
How did Curiel, Blumenthal asked, "see the role of a district judge versus the appellate court?"
"As a trial judge I recognize that I'm not there to make the law," Curiel said. "I'm not there to interpret the law, I'm there to follow the law as established by the precedent of our Supreme Court."

“Put this in italics: a judge’s race, ethnicity, or gender is never a basis for recusal,” NYU legal ethics expert Stephen Gillers told LawNewz.com in an email. In fact, a lawyer who moves to remove a judge based solely on his ethnicity could face sanctions.

CNN’s legal analyst, Jeffrey Toobin, ripped into Trump’s claim that Curiel has a “conflict of interest.”

“It simply is not part of the American legal system to make this sort of demand, and I don’t see any other explanation for this than, I’m sorry to say, bigotry,” Toobin said.

Trump just wants to make a mockery of the American legal system and write his own rules, as any megalomaniac would, and he thought his bullshit was going to fly when he started talking crap about the judge, and everyone would go along with it. He bit more that he could chew this time.

Doubling down on Hillary's tweet:

I think it's a good tactic. Reinforce that Trump is a joke and should be treated as such (while still energizing the base to vote against him).

As someone from Belgium who frequents reddit, there seems to be a lot of scaremongering surrounding Hillary, to the point where I'm thinking that while Trump is terrible, Hillary Clinton is pretty shady as well. How much truth is there to all those things that get said about her.

don't take reddit seriously

It's the internet. Trust your better judgement.

Warren is such a fraud. Don't need to repeat the reasons as it apparently gets you banned but this does not help Hillary. Republicans don't respect her at all, it would be like Mike Huckabee "ethering" Hillary.

Reddit is anti-Hillary, GAF is pro-Hillary.

Pick your poison.

Who wants the respect of Republicans? This was done to highlight the racist, ignorant, un-American beliefs of that party - not to win them over.

oh woe is me I can't spout bullshit personal attacks about a candidate to justify her fraudulence, GAF is sooo unfair to Republicans waaaaaaaaah

Once again posts like THIS are why you guys get banned, not because you have a different political outlook. Many of you guys are not based in reality and so you make these increasingly bizarre and nonsensical attacks that are easily disproved and then everyone has a laugh at your expense.

Someone gets ethered if the attacks themselves are truthful and hit their target powerfully, regardless of who the messenger is. If you can find someone in your camp that can do that authoritatively, then we'll talk.

That's a flawed take on multiple levels.

Warren is a progressive leader in the Senate. Huckabee has no such leadership, and obviously no influence in government much less any influence in his own party.

The story that you're referring to... I feel bad for people who feel it's necessary to trot that one out like it has any significance, because if your argument held water, you'd have something much more substantial than just that little story. We're discussing serious issues and you want to bring up something that weak?

Finally, what Republicans respect isn't really that meaningful. They might deserve more respect if they would show more respect to the country from time to time. Nominating a fraud like Donald Trump probably isn't the best way to start going about that.

Not the point. Republicans see Hillary like this board sees Trump. Someone like Warren coming after their candidate means nothing to them and their base.

We don't need Republican votes. We need independent votes and Democrats to continue to come home, which is where such a speech is effective. Republicans think Hillary is the devil and nothing short of Jesus coming out of the sky and personally endorsing her would change their view (actually, they'd probably deny the savior at that point and ask for an edited edition of the Bible). Because they hold such a cartoonish view of her candidacy, nobody cares what they think and the rest of the country will continue to vote in Presidents who aren't insane racist xenophobic nutbags. They are not rational folk who are actually open to internalizing data that conflicts with their bullshit worldview.

They aren't the target. Any Republican who blindly supports Trump or thinks of Warren the way you suggest isn't even worth talking to. This sort of thing works well for the people that matter: Democrats who need motivation and people who barely pay attention who will end up voting for the person they find most credible. This kind of response emasculates Trump and makes him sound like a toddler who needs to go to the corner for a timeout.

Because that's what he is!

But go on Arc, proceed to tell us the positive qualities of a Trump president. Then you can whine about how GAF will ban you because you can't come up with an argument more compelling than "he's not Hillary."

That's a pretty massive generalization you made there.

And for the record I'm a registered independent and am voting Hillary. Not once have I made a case for Trump. Don't get so emotionally charged over me calling Warren a fraud. I've lived in MA my whole life, I know her story well.

Credit where it is due. Clinton's opposition has done a fantastic job of scaremongering those who aren't really paying attention. The spin they've put on social media is the scary future of politics.

For those paying attention it's very sad though. /r/The_Donald is filled with debunked claims, racism, and negativity. Calling out any BS will get you banned. At least on GAF you're called out for it.

You sound like J. Edgar Hoover: "King, you are such a fraud. You are no hero. You are a traitor to the Negro race."

This isn't a message for Republicans. Its a message for right-leaning Independents who don't have their head up their ass.

Good, then don't spout bullshit and expect people to assume anything but the worst. If you can't help but come into a topic and call Warren a fraud - the same bullshit accusation that has been leveled for years - and then claim GAF will ban you for it, it's safe to think people will make the obvious conclusion about what you are.

Edit: I'll just assume you're being truthful about your Hillary vote for now, not that I would need that litmus test to call your comment stupid.

I highly doubt the most progressive senator with quite the reputation that she has is going to swing right leaning independents. Like not at all. Come on people this is simple.

To quote Biden's reason for his faith in America, in spite of what is taking place these days with Republicans nominating someone like Donald Trump, "the bulk of Americans know better".

Conservatives have their own worldview, for a variety of reasons. That certainly has no bearing on the validity of anything Warren or anyone else says or does. Conservatives can say what they need to say to diminish her or call her Pocahontas or whatever. The bulk of Americans know better.

I don't think the party that nominated Donald Trump as their nominee and is slowly coalescing around him as their standard bearer is deserving of that much respect right now. It officially became a joke when that man was able to clench the nomination with more primary votes than anyone in the history of their party.

The goal now is to energize the base and not let Donald Trump and Republicans escape the reality of how low they've sunk.
