No doubt, Sean Hannity will remind us "libtards" why that was a stellar performance from POTUS. Had Barack Obama performed in similar fashion, however, he'd be enunciating his middle name throughout the name - particularly in regards to the anti-semitic question.

You aren't going to get the truth about Russia until there's actually a full investigation into the connections and he has to testify. Otherwise he and his staff are going to lie and mislead to keep people off the trail. The point of that reporters point regarding the electoral vote was just to show how easy it is to point out his lies. There's a certain section of his supporters that aren't going to care about that no matter what as they'll believe anything and everything he says. But it's not all of his supporters. The point right now is to just continually highlight how unhinged he is to the rest of the people in the country who aren't going to sit there and nod to everything he says. The press need to call him out on every single piece of bullshit he spews, no matter how small it is to continue to show who he really is.

He said he didn't care. His team won, and he isn't doing politics anymore.

Pretty much. The vast majority of Trump supporters (including Trump himself) care far more about winning the presidency than the responsibilities of actually being president.

He said "yes"

I gave him credit for at least not being a pussy about it.

It's only silly if you don't actually follow what's happening, which it's pretty obvious you don't. I don't know, keep living in that fairyland where the current GOP will save us all lol. Maybe in another time years ago, but now, you are just dreaming. Unless he does something utterly insane beyond words (like rape someone on national TV or something like that) they won't do shit, just like they won't do shit now despite everything that is happening and is coming out by the day. But, just dream, dream of the GOP that mans up and puts anything besides what McConnell and Ryan want ahead of them. Maybe if we dream it all hard enough it'll come true, who fucking knows anymore.
 
Trump represents his base so well. Blame everyone else, lie and point fingers, get all your information from TV, refuse to back up claims, and finally when backed into a corner shout, "fake!" I don't get it. I don't see it. Maybe it's because I grew up in LA County, California but fuck I thought people were better than this.
 
Try to ease your mind when it comes to Trump supporters by thinking of the following:

Only the most vocal post on social media and his Twitter. They're fanatical and radical. They'll slobber his knob over anything, no matter how bad it makes him look.

Despite these people, there are still reasonable people who voted for him that will not vote for him come 2020. He received fewer votes than Mitt Romney in 2012. That gives me hope, simply because the person he ran against was the second most disliked person to ever run as well. I don't think anything he has done since he took office or will continue to do will embolden the people on the fence to vote for him again. His staunch supporters are a lost cause and because they are so vocal, it gives the impression that 2020 is already a lost election before we even get there. I refuse to believe that.

That was all it ever was to them, it was a sports game, and their sports team won the big sports game and the other sports team didn't. That's it for them.

Worse still, they think everyone else thinks of it as a sports game that ended with the election too. That's why they always say things like "Libruls are just still mad/salty/butthurt/etc about the election!" or "We won get over it!. They can't comprehend that other people see politics as politics, not a sports game.

The republicans do what they do because it gets them elected. They sieze on populist sentiment and unease about immigration and terrorism TO GET ELECTED. If there comes a time where support for Trump endangers that, they won't keep supporting him. Your idea that they just keep doing bad evil things regardless of its impact on votes is laughably ignorant.
