I already have people I knew voted Trump even posting a big "WTF?" I don't need that serving of pie tonight, I'm just gonna get my dessert now on my responses.

I love him, he loves me, and has been there for me when I needed him many many times over the course of my life.

He's not saying that they're going to save us. He's saying that they'll take action when it affects their chances of getting re-elected a.k.a keeping their jobs.

The kind of democratic opposition we're seeing right now from the massive protests everywhere needs to keep up until the midterms.

We're all aware of the current state of the GOP and how they act, which is why we need to keep up the pressure on them more than ever. Saying: "Oh they won't do this/that" to others will only result in net-losses.

It's not just about dreaming, it's about working and getting active in your country to do what's right.

Nope. See McCain for example. Guy has pretty much been made a bitch boy by Trump on several occasions, but he still falls completely in line with the party when it comes to voting. He's destroyed any and all credibility or decency for party. I mean, sure, he talks a big game, but when it comes time, he lines up like a bitch, like they all do.
 
As I was about to leave work my coworkers started talking about how amazing Trump was and how great it is that someone is ripping apart the liberal media. I strive to see the best in people, but when it comes to Trump supporters I think they could see Trump murder their own child right in front of them and be okay with it.

if you want to know why the GOP supports trump then watch today's signing ceremony where he is surrounded by grinning republican senators. He is going on about rally sizes and it is clear he has no clue what the rule he is eliminating did. It's his willingness to rubber-stamp their agenda, not the R next to his name

and they don't care what democrats think is because they haven't been given any reason to. Show them that we can win some elections (starting with upcoming special elections) and that changes

I know exactly what his point is, and I'm trying to tell you that point is wrong. I've already given multiple examples, none of which has been addressed in this argument, that has hurt several GOP members chances for re-elections.

Obama inherited a mess.. country was in the worst financial crisis since the depression.. Trump is taking over when the country has been running great for years.. I feel for whoever takes over in 2020..

If your argument is that the republicans routinely support causes that cost them votes and elections I don't have to look at your examples. I know they're complete bullshit because that claim is ridiculous on its face. Putting party over country literally means doing what's best for the party, which is staying in power.

I cannot fathom how you aren't understanding this.

Consider what Trump has said to personally insult the likes of McCain, PRyan, Rubio, Cruz, et al. And they fall to his feet. If nothing else, I'm beginning to understand why certain Republicans project so hard with their cuckold insult.
