Trusty Bell New XBOX360 RPG

From the little black book of rumours:
- A certain maker is making a game based on stocks
- A very realistic sports game that was popular at E3 is coming to Japan
- A realistic robot game that was released last year, but not so popular, is going to become an anime
- A very popular, long-awaited action RPG will be released for two machines in november, but the release date depends on the release date of one of the platforms being confirmed
- The first Z-rated game is coming out on Xbox

- The first Z-rated game is coming out on Xbox HA! Microsoft listened to me!
Interesting.

Excellent GRAW scores as expected and Chromehounds scored very solid too - I didn't expect that.

Japan starting to like 360? *runs*

What is the release date of trusty bell(in japan) and enchanted arms(in the us, obviously)?

And what is Kengo Zero?
Kengo is sort of like the spiritual successor to the old Bushido Blade games. Kengo Zero sounds like a prequel.

What kind of stocks?

Capcom publishing Rockstar Table Tennis. DUH.

Armored Core anime, DUH.

HMMMM.... this is quite the interesting tidbit. I agree with other assertations, it's either Dawn of Mana for Wii (which would make me wet myself) or something totally unfathomable that would cause an aneurism among RPG fans world over.

Once again, DUH.

What on earth is a Z rated game?
CERO's Z rating = ESRB's AO rating

64DD's Wall Street

- A very realistic sports game that was popular at E3 is coming to Japan
X360's Rockstar Table Tennis

Front Mission / Armored Core

Zelda (Wii at Nov?)

- The first Z-rated game is coming out on Xbox
Dead Rising

The composer Chopin seems to be in the game too (see scans). ;p

Now, if Microsoft can get more titles like these, they might just stand a chance to recoup some losses...

Edit: seems like DOAX 2 already won the 30th place on the most wanted chart, next best seller for Tecmo confirmed. :lol

someone knows if the metal slug reviewed in this famitsu is metal slug 3d?
Yes it is.

I agree with neo2046 - that action RPG is most likely Zelda. Anything else would be very surprising at this stage. Also Dead Rising for the Z-certificate could be why the game is a little late to be released.

I just made those up, but they do reflect the general content-less content of your average Famitsu review :lol

I'm sorry, but I didn't know the Gulf War was fought in the Gulf of Mexico. :P

The visual technique going on there is awesome. I wish somebody would apply something like that to a less cliche anime style at some point, I'm really as sick as can be of that aesthetic.

Somebody please translate the most important bits of the article. Does it mention anything about a release date?

And more Famitsu scans please! ;)

Well, you can't expect that Japanese to stay asleep at the wheel the whole life of the 360 when it keeps getting not just solid reviews but, stellar reviews as well from gamers and mags.. You know it gets harder to ignore a winner when it keeps staring you right in the face.

You could make a case that if the 360 had launched in Japan with games like Trusty Bell and Blue Dragon, they wouldn't have been asleep to begin with.

If you think this looks good wait till you see the Tri Ace game.

I like the music theme though. Terrel's translation is pretty much a good summary.

Trusty Bell certainly sounds good to me, and looks damn hot! But I don't WANT to buy an XBOX 360! Bloody hell...too many RPGs coming, though. If only I wangle a 360 from MS for 'review' purposes...

- Stock Training DS?

- Clearly not Wii Sports then :lol (obviously because it's already coming out in Japan...oh wait, AND it's not ultra realistic! ;) ). Table Tennis is a possibility, but Madden Wii is a strong possibility of getting the series some major popularity in Japan at long last.

- A Chibi-Robo anime would be interesting...

- First thought has to be Zelda. The theory of Mana was shot down by the SEx interview stating there's nothing concrete on the idea of Mana Wii, surely?

as you can see, japanese devs simply dont know anything about next gen.
One could argue that there is nothing incredible technically in these screens. The cell shading doesn't seem *that* different from Rogue Galaxy's.

Ehm, this is the Tri-Ace/Tri-Crescendo game.. The teaser art they used on the site is the same one as in the scan. And on top of that, Motoi Sakuraba (of Tri-Ace fame) does the music.

That's more like it. ;)

I think Trusty Bell, triAce game published by MS and Namco's 360 RPG developed by one of the Tales Of... teams might be 3 different games.

Ok, I'm confused. Tri-Ace and Tri-Crescendo are the same company right? Wrong? Sorta kinda maybe? Is this the RPG that was announced at the MS meeting awhile back?

Anyways, I think it looks pretty damn sweet, and I really like the Chopin concept.

Atleast in terms of art its very similar to Tri Aces own Radiata Stories. I look forward to what L5 can do when they finally show off what they've been working on. I'm hoping they can get close to that CG they used in RG (if they go the cell shaded way).

I think Tri-Crescendo is a part of Tri-Ace. I never heard of Tri-C before though, maybe it's a name change. It could also be a set up to let MS publish that game, instead of Square Enix, but I'm just guessing right now.
