Trying to date while broke

Yeah I guess I should have mentioned that I'm not a typical college student. I'm 30 years old and I live half an hour from campus. I have a job, but my cash situation is unsustainable for more than another semester (lucky, since I graduate in December).

And isn't it a little weird to approach a woman you don't know that well and say "Hey, will you come to my house so I can cook you dinner"? I mean maybe that's fine for a second or third date, but I'd think that a woman would be reluctant to meet a guy at his house for a first date.

arrive at her place pre-drunk on some cheap piss, immediately pass out on couch, wake up and have a free breakfast date the next day.

Date other poor college students.

It doesn't get any simpler. Most college kids don't date so much as hang out on weekends and do things together on campus. The bigger the school the more things you can do on the cheap or even free. Most college "dates" for me were pretty much weekend parties and football tailgating.

Just get a phone number the first time you meet them, get to know her after.

If you are broke then just try not to date. Its not hard just wank off until you the broke college student phase. Its free.

Try not to be clingy and focus on your career. Banging chicks and dating can wait.

I don't know man that's quitter talk, plenty of women are still down for a cup of tea and or a walk next to the creek. It can be done, don't tell yourself it can't be done cause then it cant.

I've done it. The key is to be honest about your situation. Either she will say it's ok and then fall back and break it off or she will say it's ok and try to come up with low-cost date ideas.

Check out any potential free events in your area. Walks in the park are always free. Making a homecooked meal for her can be cheaper than dining out.
