Tumbledrop iPhone out Friday

One question related to that; when I click the "get full version" button in-game, will I be able to just "unlock" these new levels and keep my progress? Or do I need to download the full version completely?
Ah, if you buy the full version you need to get the medals etc again. There's no tidy way to transfer saves, and I figured that there's only 10 levels so it's not too bad to repeat it :)

any news on the ipad version :D !?
Sadly nothing to show yet. iPads are delayed in the UK until late april too, which slows me down. I considered doing a 'quick port' to iPad, but I've decided to stick with my original plan and make the iPad version much more special. :) So, please watch this space!

Some people have asked me to supply guides for some of the harder medals. Would anyone be willing to help out? The heart medal on level 24 in particular, does anyone have a specific method they used for that level?

this actually scales up to the iPad pretty well, dock. wouldn't mind an update that just makes it higher-res like some apps have been doing, for now, though :)

Costanza, awesome! Thanks for letting me know! :3 I've got four week to wait until the UK release! ;_; I have thought long and hard about doing an up-res edition, but considering I have Tumbledrop Deluxe planned for PC+Mac, I think it's worth doing properly. :)

Today I submitted 'Tumbledrop 1.1' to the App Store, which is my first big update. It fixes a ton of bugs, but most importantly it adds 20 more levels. I spent a long time designing these things, because I was keen to introduce new types of puzzle.

I also managed to solve a long-standing bug that would occur when resetting levels with balloons, which was limiting how I could use balloons in levels. The advantage of this is that I can do more interesting balloon based puzzles.

I took a screenshot...

it actually looks a little better on the device. it's pretty much just lacking the crispness, I guess.

Awesome game to become more awesome, thanks for the continued work.

Great news, looking forward to the update!

Excellent, the balloons are why I stopped playing the game. :)

hey dock! I just thought I'd put my two cents in: I would love to see the current version of Tumbledrop become universal (aka look good on both ipad and iphone) while we wait for the full fledged iPad game.

either way, love the game and can't wait to see what you do next.

Dock, I showed this game to my 8 year old niece yesterday and she LOVES it, I couldn't get my iPhone back from her! I expect her to sweet-talk her dad into buying it for his iPod Touch.

great game :)
i´m a bit stuck at the 23+ lvls...
on the bad side this app seems to eat my battery power :(
Thanks Dexa! It may not seem like it, but Tumbledrop is relatively hard on the hardware, because the physics are much more complex than most games. Good luck with those levels :)

Ah, that's fantastic! I'm always glad that younger players are able to enjoy it, though I hope it wasn't too annoying to lose your iPhone for a while! XD

I updated, and now the game doesn't even load. It shows the loading screen for a split second, then goes back to the springboard...

Do I need 3.1.3?

That's usually something that can be fixed with a system restore. I had it two times or so.

For the record, I was recently in Vegas
(for CJ's wedding)
and on the plane ride home, I ended up sitting next to a very talkative 8-year-old girl and her younger (about 5) brother.

I busted out Tumbledrop for them, and they loved it. The three of us worked together to decide which blocks to eliminate. They had a blast.

I just got an iPhone 4 a week ago and the lite version of this was one of my first apps. Bought the full game yesterday and I must say one of the best games on the iPhone by far. Slick, intuitive, fun and gets super hard. Ive now got a bunch of friends buying it too. Good stuff.

one of my favorite iphone games. any info on the ipad version? i dont have one but my parents recently bought one and i would gift it to them

Just got my ipod Touch (it's for christmas but I'm ssetting it up with the wifi, synching and grabbing some apps etc now to make sure it's working fine) and I just bought this. I've been buying a bunch of apps, so many are just 59p it's hard to say no.
