TUPBftU #4: 80's Hulk vs. Sephiroth

In just this thread alone, Hulkamania is running wild. Already Sephiroth is beaten, move Hulk to finals already and end this fast.
 
Man, the finals happened in the first round. Goku vs. Batman? I have no idea what I'd choose. Probably Batman, even if he wouldn't really win.

Also, what the fuck is TTGL? Isn't Galactus a cloud or something? How does a cloud, or whatever the hell he is, lose? Actually, scratch that, what the hell is Galactus?

Oh, and:

+1 Hulk Hogan

If only because I entered the thread expecting a different Hulk and simply have to vote for Hogan due to the twist.
 
look Sephiroth as a character is terrible and I don't like wrestling but let's be real here. Sephiroth has an ability where he summons a planet destroying asteroid that tears through the solar system before finally impacting his opponent. I don't care how much defense Hulk puts on, dude is gonna be dead.

That's only going to make Hogan hulk out, then Seph will send bout 2 more asteroids and then finally after Hogan hulks out those two he will point to Seph and then clothesline him and set him up for the leg drop, the impact of the leg drop will act as a nuclear bomb, completely clearing out a 25 mile radius around them, nothing will survive.

Is this before or after Sephiroth summons a move so powerful that Pluto and Jupiter are destroyed before PLUNGING into the Sun causing a supernova so large that the entire solar system is destroyed?

And even if he missed the sun, the destruction of planets like Jupiter and Saturn alone would cause the gravity balance of the solar system to go haywire, likely swinging all sorts of deadly space objects in spiraling Earth-on directions, causing the planets demise anyway. If Earth itself wasn't flung out into space from interacting with the immense gravity of an object so large it could destroy the sun, that is.

Everybody knows, that Sephiroth solar-system attack is just an illusion created by Jenova to just look powerful. All his abilities only come from her. Sephiroth himself was defeated by an Emo low-level Soilder and a boy with a big key. Twice!
 
Let's throw out the real Sephiroth, get Shawn Michaels in here and have him dress up as Seph, then have him oversell every single move Hulk does to him.

emo low-level soldier? Well, emo he may be... but He can summon meteors himself! Fuck, he can also summon GIANT CITY-SIZED DRAGON BEASTS from Heaven and also break the space time continuum to have the Knights of the Round Table eviscerate his foes.

Sephiroth may have lost at the end of the day, but it was by someone who could ALSO beat Hulk with one drop of a materia in the bucket.

Actually, if Undertaker is still around in 10 years, has let his hair go gray, and will wear a trench coat during the match, and if Hogan has returned to WWE due to TNA's failure, then we just might have something.

Tengen Toppa Gurrenn Lagann has been feeling rather ill lately, I have some replacements in the wings in case TTGL has to bow out, including Hedgehog Goku.

A force of nature created by Death to ensure that the balance between life and death never tips too far in life's favor.

TTGL can do whatever the fuck it wants making it hard to stop even by a being custom built to eat planets.

Yeah, but by the 5th or 6th time Sephiroth destroys the solar system it was starting to lose it's effect.

It's mentioned in the show that while they can bring people back to life, they choose not to do so.

I wasn't ever especially impressed with him. He was kind of a weenie. Not only was he a whiny advocate of environmental nihilism to "save the planet" He was killed by a Level 1 Cloud, his biggest victory was stabbing a girl in the back which accomplished nothing...

Now Kefka, he was an even stupider villain. However, I bet he'd be rocking the Hulkster into a permanent grave at this point in the thread. People love crazy clowns with no discernible personality or motivation.
