Twisted Metal: The Lost Endings (so good)

I don't exactly remember how we came across these hidden gems, but a friend and I found them on YouTube a few nights ago. We're pretty big Twisted Metal fans and don't recall ever seeing these in the actual game, so I'm just going to assume a lot of you haven't seen them either. It would be a shame for these to go unwatched. They are truly magnificent pieces of film making, with some of the best dialogue and acting ever to grace a video game.

I hope you all enjoy them as much as we did.

Here's a few of my favorites:

Twisted Metal - The Lost Endings: Thumper's Ending

Twisted Metal - The Lost Endings: Sweet Tooth's Ending

Twisted Metal - The Lost Endings: Mr. Grimm's Ending

You can find the rest by looking through the related videos.

Oh, and also this.

these are great.

FYI, all the lost endings are found on Twisted Metal: Head On (extra twisted edition) for
ps2. jaffe also mentions that these came off too campy/low budget, so they opted for the text endings. he also says in retrospect, it was a great decision.:lol

damn, never saw these before, thanks for the vids
:lol at sweet tooths ending
I miss Twisted Metal, i might play twisted metal 2 since i bought it the other day
Axel was my favorite character in that one

I just ended up watching the Twisted Metal: Black endings. I loved those games.
Yeah I didn't have the game but my friend did and he showed me all the endings. The preacher one was pretty crazy. :lol

WTF happened to the car combat genre anyway?

That seems like low-hanging fruit that has been forgotten. OK, there was that one lame one released when the 360 came out . . . but anything else?

LOL. Yellowjacket is probably my favorite out of all of these, although Hammerhead, Mr. Grimm, and Sweet Tooth are good too. Here's the rest (I think), if you're like me and don't want to have to dig through the related links:

Hammerhead
Yellow Jacket
Roadkill
Warthog
Outlaw
Crimson Fury
Pit Viper

Edit: Forgot one:
Darkside

That one and the story where the guy was actually an undercover cop. I watched all of them recently as well.

...to be revived by Twisted Metal PS3.

I want a reboot for the PS3 :( I played the game, just to see all these movies. I wanted to know how each story ends. So good. I hope we will get a new TM for PS3. I love each and every story of these characters. Sweet Tooth is king :D
Give us more movies

Yeah both Carmageddon and Twisted Metal havent really showed any signs of life. Interstate should make a comeback too!

Latest ive played is Full Auto 2 on PS3, atleast that lets you mount miniguns to the hood. Its pretty rubbish but the arena-mode is somewhat fun and hectic.

Burnout and the upcoming Blur & Split Second seem to be the new "car combat" genre :/
