Was it Austin St John or the show staff? I thought the actors got along fairly well.
Pretty sure it was just the staff. That post must've been made by a Rocky stan trying to tarnish Jason's good name.
I don't think Austin or David had beef at all. But the showrunners definitely had a problem with David, and it's been hinted that a number didn't feel that a "gay man should be a hero".
I don't think I've ever heard David say the actual Cast was bad to him. Mostly the people behind the scenes.
I"m sure they paid Jason a bit more money and it was nice for all of us to see on the originals return.

No they were very prominent in MMPR
I remember hearing/reading it was mainly the staff that had issues with Yost. There doesn't seem to be any problems today as Austin, David, Walter and others attend cons together. So if there were issues there they've worked through them I guess. The cast members that had issues I remember were Austin and Jason Frank but I'm not sure if that largely became a thing later in in life though.

I dreamed of owning the original megazord, but I'm not sure these would have looked that cool to my younger self.
In any case, I guess I can't complain. Things seem to get much worse as far as sentai in general goes.
For more recent Sentai, it's more of the show and "non-DX" versions being good because they aren't constrained to the toy material. It's why ToQ-Oh looks great as a suit but the toy looks crap. Same goes for Zyuoh King (although I must admit, Zyuoh King has that "can combine with any form" motif and the final mecha is cool) and Kyuren-Oh. The last sentai mecha with so much configuration was the Gobuster mecha. Problem is mostly the kids don't like mecha configs nowadays, they just want to slap stuff together.
