I would have had no problems with Super Megaforce using the unadapted suits, but it wasn't a full Gokaiger adaptation where there would have been some wiggle room. Space, Lightspeed and Time Force got shafted badly.

No way. It costs way too much money.
Straight up if Saban did what they were supposed to do. You would have the OG cast around for much longer, and you could have straight done smooth transitions each time someone wanted to leave or if you wanted to start clean.

I see. I've watched a bit of Gokaiger and I'm surprised they even went with it given how integral the past Sentai heroes theme is to everything. So what, did MF just show random Ranger changes with no reasoning at all? I might need to watch a few episodes to see the weirdness myself.
They're not lol. Dino Charge fell off with Super Charge and Ninja Steel is run of the mill so far. The best thing is the relationship between Yello and White. They're an interracial couple who actually feel like a couple.

It would be too expensive for Saban's taste. The Disney era did a lot of original fights iirc. The most being​ in RPM.
Imo The Movie should be an original team instead of a MMPR remake.
It's kinda crazy people are even willing to work with him/them with all the crap they've done in the past. A job is a job I guess.

When I first heard this was announced I was hype. Then later on my brother told me it was hamfisted into Megaforce somehow and I was pretty salty.

The OG cast should have ended with In Space.
Still would've been the greatest ending ever.
Especially if Jason (or even Tommy) took Andros' place and had to be the one to kill Zordon to destroy evil in the galaxy.
They tried to say how Andros was like Zordon's long time friend but we didn't spend 4+ years with Andros like how we could have with the old team.

The movie still confounds me. It doesn't even touch on its Sentai roots but it's also a young adult movie which means the nostalgia crowd won't be involved. I just don't get what the point of it all is.

The issue I had with SM was the cheapness of it. They said they literally blew the budget for the show but the outcome was the opposite of that. While at the same time spent money wining and dining like ten original actors which three were from recent seasons. And they blatantly discriminated against Disney season actors/actresses just because.
Don't even forget the courting of old actors through impersonal letter. Ignoring Actors that wanted to come and so forth. It was a mess and I remember fans saying wait till the episodes because it would all work out fine. hahaha
