In terms of concept for a film, Tamers makes the most sense (although Adventure 01 would be the more obvious choice), but I'd prefer it if Hollywood didn't touch Digimon at all.

Depends on the season, honestly. The Japanese shows tend to do things with character arcs and stakes that only pop up in the best PR seasons (In Space, Time Force, Lost Galaxy). But that still differs wildly between seasons.
