I remember seeing that and getting so psyched for the game. Then it turned Xbox exclusive and for some reason they changed the formula and the game that came out looked and played nothing like that. Such a disappointment.

I hope the 2.5 rumor is real. As for Oddworld 1 and 2, they are just going to be PS1 releases I imagine right? It was all pre-rendered sprites so I doubt they went back and rendered everything at a higher resolution for a HD release (how awesome that would be...).

Would like to replay Stranger's Wrath on a current gen console in HD, I hope that's coming.

I actually never played or really knew much of anything about the original Oddworld games when they were new. I loved Another World, Blackthorne, OG Prince of Persia, and kind of liked Flashback, so it seems like Oddworld is something I would like. I picked up the original on PSN not too long ago but so far I've found it a little hard to get into.

Yes yes yes! I absolutely adore Abe's Oddyssey and Abe's Exodus; they're two of my favourite games, but I never played the more recent games because I never had an Xbox (I considered buying one JUST for Munch's Oddyssey but didn't think it was worth it). If this rumour is true, I can't wait!
