Why is this a thread?
Because I saw an odd picture on FB and posted it here. Other posters explained it and it's clear now.
Why is this a thread?
I am over it, hence the sentence saying that I see no problem here. Exclusive in gaming is usually used when it comes to single (or same family) console exclusivity anyway, even if it could still be used like this in general. I personally wouldn't have used that word, but with Rogue underneath I can see why they did, so no controversy here. You guys all make it sound like the word "exclusive" is strictly a console war weapon and has no other meaning.
This is exactly what exclusive means: it's available on those platforms, and not any other. Yes it means no Nintendo, but it also means no old gen, and it's rare enough even these day that it should be pointed out on promotional material. Get over it.
We're well past the point of full stupid. Last thread was bunch of people complaining that they can't sue Ubisoft after accepting a free game as their settlement for the season pass being cancelled. Pages and pages of drive by posters who couldn't wait to get their jabs in because LOL UBISOFT.There's enough to mock AC about this year without going full stupid.
It's really not, because if they only said that it's available then that could confuse potential customers about which version is available on next gen and last gen. Dat faux outrage.Such a dumb use of the word exclusive. Just put Available on Ps4, Xbox One and PC
And for Rogue available on PS3 and Xbox 360 done.
I watched all the cutscenes and I really liked Rogue's story outside of the very liberal use of the phrase. "I make my own luck." I was expecting a very abridged liberation on vita style plot. After playing both Unity and Rogue I would gladly cut Rogue off a picture also. What terrible game that was such waste of premise which in turned ruined best assassins creed 3 character Achilles

I don't think the assassins are portrayed as evil, just portrayed as at worst chaotic good and capable of making mistakes and letting their creed get the best of them. Coincidentally Unity does something similar. Then there's also that once comic AC:The Fall that showed off how the Russian assassins function and it's not the prettiest. Imo I find that more interesting than portraying AC as ultimate good and templars as ultimate evil, especially centuries.I had issues how out way to make assassins evil just to justify shay turning. Should have kept it grey like latest games done where both Templars and assassins both do mixture or good and evil things. Also each confrontation with an assassin was dull as they made of paper it never had any impact killing these people
Technically correct since the game excludes the Wii U.
Official reveal around Spring like most AC games. Most likely with a short teaser like how Unity showed off it's new engine.Just remembered the Kotaku leak about Assassin's Creed: Victory. E3 official reveal? I'm only interested if the grappling hook thing is enough of a game changer. Likely not but I do want to see.
