Hell, he could have stopped right there and would have been given the win. That's an intentional kick to the head of a downed opponent, and the announcers are bitching that he didn't get poked in the eye. He's clearly still affected by it.

That one was probably a little less intentional since he couldn't really be expected to know for sure that the guy's hand was down, but he was still being risky there. That's because Japan is too damned stupid to ban kicks to the head in the first place. They ban elbows because they'll cause some blood, well kicks to the head will cause some death. Shogun probably took 15 IQ points off Rampage with kicks to the head when he was down and it's not like he had them to spare to begin with.

I thought about it and while Shogun did win with kicks to a downed Rampage, they weren't the vicious ones I am thinking of. I don't know who it was, I haven't seen many of Shogun's fights from Pride, just the highlights.
