The new clock/on-screen graphics and transitions are really nice and clean, this broadcast looks way more professional.

I want Conor to lose for a few reasons. Mostly because I hate how the UFC has hyped him up and fast tracked him to the belt just because hes one of the few people on their roster that isn't a complete personality vacuum.
You can't blame them, look at the guys in the other title fight and try to sell a PPV around them
That and McGregor has won his last 13 fights, 5 of those in UFC with 4 of those 5 UFC fights by TKO.

Makes everything look pretty clinical and generic.

Not good for their brand in my opinion.

Dana thinks the UFC is the NFL. He thinks the "UFC" brand is why people tune in, ignoring the fact that ever since the more popular fighters started exiting the mainstream scene (Brock, GSP, Anderson) ratings have gone into the toilet, as if there isn't some correlation there. He and his partners are going to be in for a very costly awakening I think.

I have been wondering the whole time: who the hell is the market for these UFC fight kits? This isn't like team sports where everybody will put on their favourite team's jersey and cheer them on at the local pub. Can you imagine anybody going to the pub to watch the UFC with their UFC fight kit on? It doesn't help that they are visually quite ugly.

nobody. The only reason that MMA shirts from brands like Tapout or Affliction got big in the first place because midlife crisis having mother fuckers found their garish designs attractive and would wear them to clubs and bars and shit. Nobody is going to be wearing a Reebok fight kit to the club. They are trying way too hard to turn the UFC into a traditional sport, which it isn't and never will be.

I still remember UFC going head to head with a boxing PPV fight and got completely shit stomped. That humbled the fuck out of them.

I don't know why I thought of this, but I guess it's because of the oversaturation of UFC PPV and my hatred for Dana White.

The best part of the new ugly uniform debacle is that Dana wants people to treat the UFC like the NFL, so he makes the "players" wear uniforms. Then he keeps the playing field absolutely covered in every ugly ass logo with a company who will pay for the space.

The low rent sponsors look dreadful.

Draft Kings sponsor fucking podcasts for fuck sake.

Yeah those octagon sponsors look EVEN MORE out of place now.

The fighters will take their 8+8+5k sponsor money and like it. Meanwhile the UFC will charge $100k for those floor sponsors and take all the money.

For some reason I thought this was on at a strange time, pints and fights on a Sunday morning, sweet.

I've got Conor and Lawler.

I'm from Dublin and I hope Conor loses.

All that talk with little to back it up so far
. Hard to take the UFC seriously anymore with how he's being fast tracked to the title shot. You want charisma that bad Dana? Go the WWE route.

Prove yourself first Conor, then run your mouth you scaldy looking cunt.

From Ireland. Feel the exact same. Getting real tired of the talk about him over here.

UFC judges are the worst. Having worked with one of them before I can honestly say that I am better at their job than any of them. :)
