first round finish by green pretty much dominated. gets some of Stephen's purse for missing weight and a finish bonus hope that's enough to make up for the $300K of jewelry he lost :messenger_grinning_smiling:

We here homies. Distracted and too much going on as usual but watching.

Great dominating performance for Brady after his KO loss to Morales. Buckley had nothing for him this is his 2nd loss after losing to Kamaru Usman last year.

For the last 3 fights, I'm picking Khamzat over Strickland. Not rooting for anyone, but I feel like its going to be like the du Plessis fight he'll grapple and pin Strickland down during the whole fight and go to decision to minimize any risk of losing his belt. Hopefully, Stricklands TD defense is good enough to keep it standing more than the du Plessis fight to make it more exciting.

For Van vs. Taira, we know Van is mainly a striker, Taira is a grappler and Taira finished former champ Brandon Moreno with a submission. I'm betting Taira's grappling is good enough to submit Van.

For Volkov vs. Cortes-Acosta, this is a tough pick, but I like the momentum Cortes-Acosta is on. Finished his last three fights and didn't take too much damage I don't think the short breaks between camps is going to affect him too much. Volkov is still a top heavyweight contender with a good resume if Costes-Acosta can't finish him Volkov will probably win by decision.

Decision win for Volkov the reach and leg kicks kept Cortes-Acosta back, but Cortes-Acosta landed several nice shots and had the speed advantage Volkov wasn't dominant. Cortes-Acosta would make a good match up with Josh Hokit that'd be a fun fight

chance to make history for Taira to be the first Japanese champion lot of pressure hope Taira's ready :messenger_beaming:

Shame they stopped it, dude took a pounding earlier and came back, should have at least given him a chance to see if he could have finished the fight, even if he would have lost.

I was fine with that stoppage. I don't think Taira was going to last another 10 seconds. What a great fight though. Best of the night so far, easily.

For the main, not a fan of either, but hope Strickland wins. Khamzet annoys me with his stupid fucking lip and neck beard.

Havent followed UFC in a while.

Didnt know Don Ceronne was back?!?!? How the hell that guy is still around is a mystery. Should had retired long time ago. He's been demolished in almost every match since 2017.

Damn. Alex Grasso fought. Probably looking hot as usual.

grasso had a sick finish agains maycee barber

Yeah but I thought that earlier in the fight as well.
would've been way better for the highlight reel for van if Taira was on the ground covering up before it was stopped. now van haters are going to say early stoppage to this and also say his win against pantoja was a fluke win because pantoja injured his arm

Your vid isnt allowed in my country, but thats ok because I just googled the replay. Never seen someone scamper in with a quick choke hold like that. She barely did it and her opponent was already half dead in a fraction of a second!

maycee was lying on the ground for like five minutes afterwards just looking straight up into the sky too being all dramatic haha

Wow, I think Strickland took that. Something is up with that right hand/arm though - the fight would have been in the bag if he had followed those jabs with it throughout.

Wouldn't like to have to call that fight. Strickland was killing with the jab. Chimaev with plenty of takedowns but not much to show for them not even ground control.

That was a way closer fight than I thought it was going to be. Chimaev's pressure might be the difference maker in the scorecards though as Sean was backpedaling most of the fight. Wouldn't be surprised with either outcome.
