I remember the first Aero being a bit bad, but Ufouria is good news.
Sort of ( albeit very easy and short ):thomaser said:Ufouria is a great game! I had tons of fun with it back in the NES days. Very nice graphics, EXCELLENT music and very interesting gameplay. Kinda like a simplified Metroid with lots of quirks. And you can change characters (who each have vastly different characteristics) on the fly. Only downside was the stupid password system where you had to draw a huge grid and fill in the squares with three or four different colours. I have two or three of it in my NES collection. You know, just in case.
And please, please release Mr. Gimmick! It's in many ways my favourite Sunsoft-game for the NES. The graphics rival Kirby's Dreamland, and the music is damn good (again). The stages are very varied and imaginative. It has a brilliant "weapon" that can be used both to take out foes and to get to seemingly impossible-to-reach ledges... if you're good enough. It's hard to master to say the least, but oh so satisfying. I've never seen anything quite like it in any platformer since. The game is very, very hard, though, so a VC-release with save-states might help me get through it at last. I have two or three of this game too. Complete games go for A LOT to collectors.
Well, there is a PAL version out there already and an NTSC prototype is out there as well, so I would assume (and hope hope hope) that they'll use those to release it on VC. Uforuia is awesome and I'm going to get it despite having the cart, but Mr. Gimmick was just too out of my price range to get a physical copy of.manzo said:Vic, will EU/US get the Mr. Gimmick version, with the FME-7 soundtrack cut to MMC3?
It's a shame if the rest of the world will not experience Gimmick! with the enhanced FME-7 soundtrack. The EU version sounds so... bleak when compared to the JP version.Princess Skittles said:Well, there is a PAL version out there already and an NTSC prototype is out there as well, so I would assume (and hope hope hope) that they'll use those to release it on VC. I thought Hebereke was Sunsoft mascot.TunaLover said:I find disturbing that no one is getting excited by Aero the Acrobat... The damn Sunsoft mascot!

In america, I'm sure that it was Aero.Celine said:I thought Hebereke was Sunsoft mascot.
That would be crazy cool but if it can't be pulled off, please don't let it deter you guys from releasing the version out there.vireland said:Technical issues being hashed out on that. Not clear yet.

Same as Mr. Gimmick (but that was limited to Scandinavia).
