While white is hardly my favorite color, there are some cars that look best in white.

I drove an orange car for 4 years (Honda Element). Some people hated it, some loved it. I thought it was great and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

It's a Pontiac, it'll look ugly in any colour.

Anyways, most colours these days aren't ugly, but only a few cars can pull off yellow or white.

Aston Martins and Minis disagree with you on the green, both those cars pull off green very well (although it is a dark green, I agree with you that light green is ugly)

Yellow totally depends on the car. Mustang, Corvette, Lamborghini, basically any sports car is good with yellow. Now, yellow on a luxury sedan or SUV on the other hand makes no sense.

Yellow or red on a car represent speed/sport.

As far as common colors go, white is definitely the worst. I'm sure there's a couple exceptions on some sweet sports car, but generally white is horribly boring and looks dirty in a day's worth of driving.

That's why I drive a silver car now.. I live under an airport flightpath and work next door to an eight-lane freeway, so if my car was white or black, I'd literally have to wash it every day. Anything that's light gray or tan is good.

As for the people posting sports cars with different colors as counter-examples of that color looking bad, those cars look good in ANY color. Any porsche, lambo, aston martin, etc. will look good in any color.
