They have no obligation to even have to offer a £2 voucher to people who tried to buy it, so it's pretty damn good of them to offer that to people really.

I got no gripe with Tesco's. They noticed the error and had every right to cancel my order.

I got the same email, but only one - I have 2 orders (one for me and one for a friend).


Thing is, I just checked and both are still listed in my order history as "Awaiting Despatch" so I dunno what's going on with it.

I wonder if they would have honored this if people hadn't so thoroughly exploited it. I have to admit, I bought two copies, but I was only looking to earn enough to cover the cost (essentially getting a copy for free). I was considering buying more, but decided against it in the end.

Oh well. I don't begrudge them for cancelling my order. It was a simple mistake, and since nobody is being charged, nobody has lost anything.
