Anyone here order from GAME? Do we know when they may charge for the console? I have a feeling my card company may decline it or send me a text to confirm if this was me.

Is that for just physical store pre orders?
I ordered mine online when they first went up, got the email straight away. They never charged a pound or anything like that.

They have stated they will be contacting people this week. I have an in store pick up for a PS5 but I am in Northern Ireland and we come out of a month lockdown in 2 weeks. But as far as I know toy shops were still open anyway doing click and collect etc. so hopefully will be no problem with me collecting on the 19th, going to be there at 9:00 am to get in and out unless they do some collection time slot nonsense.

Got mine for click and collect aswell but I'll be in work the night before and on the night of release day so gonna have to rely on the Mrs to pick it up for me. She'll be in work on the day so I hope they don't allocate time slots.

Might want to look into whether you need the ID of whoever Ordered it too in advance mate, Just in case.
I've had items that only I could pick up with ID, wouldn't accept my wife collecting it, photo ID or otherwise

My mate who works in my local smyths had a confirmation his store were opening for click and collect. Don't think it will be long till a nationwide announcement gets made IMO. Either that or they may well leave it to a stores discretion.

Would Like to think so, But that wouldn't stop anything had the card been stolen, used for pre-order and then used for collection. I had to use my Bank Card cross-referenced with my Passport/Driving Licence.
I may be over thinking it, but its worth asking them to make sure you get it right.
Edit: As per your reply above, fair enough. At least you checked.

It's a strange time, I could see them doing Click and Collect as those stores would count, like Argos does, or moving everyone to delivery and pay earlier (which is a bit shitty if you're waiting on a payday or in my case a birthday just before release)

Really? They're available in every store in the Netherlands. I just ordered one yesterday and it's coming next week.
Verschoben doesn't mean postponed though. It means it has moved to 12th.

Go to the Pre-Order section of your account and find the PlayStation you ordered, if it says confirmed for day one, you're golden, if it doesn't then you likely won't get it for launch but will be one of the first to get yours as post launch shipments come, you can always remove Pre-Order and request a refund to your bank account/PayPal via the ShopTo help desk if you don't wanna wait, but essentially you're in a virtual queue and it'll tell you where you are in terms of being confirmed for day one and not being confirmed for day one.

Did anyone who ordered from Amazon have their delivery date changed to the 20th of November? I did speak with them and they said they're not sending them out till the 18th, so I may get the console on the 19th..... but will definitely get on the 20th. Not sure why they won't ship them out on the 17th. Still getting my controller on the 12th.
Make sure to update your shipping speed to get a clear indication of the correct delivery date. I also noticed the prime delivery option has been taken away for the PS5 now. Still has the prime delivery option for my controller.

Exactly, I was talking to the manager of my local as I was paying off my PS5 pre order and she was saying they got the Series X and S in a few weeks ago and the PS5's came in a few days ago, why exactly are we waiting an extra week?
What makes it worse is that Spiderman and Demons Souls can be bought and downloaded on the 12th according to the PlayStation Store as well, what a tease!
