Man, the fucking nostalgia. That show was an absolute staple of 90s gaming in the UK, the magazine was very good too. I loved how the sets and intro sequence changed to give each series its own vibe.

Haha, I once witnessed Violet Berlin's ex and present boyfriend throwing hands at each other at the ETC show that year when she was filming something for games master. The UK game scene was wild back then, Sony threw parties that would get them "cancelled" in todays age, sex drugs and video games.

A while ago (he was quite fat when he started that show with the token woke Sarah Whats-her-name as a regular guest), but lockdown seems to have worsened it.

The game master reboot is just nothing compared to the original sadly.

I also think the show would offend/trigger a lot of people now.

Final episode, for anyone that wants to give it a watch, Dominic looks genuinely sad it is ending at the end.

I have the last episode on a dvd that came free with Gamesmaster magazine.
He does look gutted, guy can't even finish with a joke.
Does the last episode show him on that huge roller coaster with the ridiculous vertical drop? I laughed so hard hearing him scream "oh no, oh noo, noo, NOOOOO! JEEZUSS" or something like that as he reached the top and began his descent

I really enjoyed games master as a kid, it's extra amusing now, when you realise how rude some of the jokes are XD.

Watched the new episode earlier. Wasnt bad actually as far as these revivals go. Florence and Trevor McDonald did a pretty good job as the replacements for Diamond and Moore, the set was nice and the atmosphere was...close..ish to the original. On the negative side I thought Ty was a needless third wheel and not very good, and naturally because its 2021 we got a bit of they/them action with the first guest followed by lesbians that they had to keep letting you know were lesbians over and over in case you didnt notice.

All in all, was alright. Obviously it will never live up to the original, its a different time. Nice to have it back though.
