Thought this was interesting. KFC haven't added anything new to the menu in months. December's promotion was a mix of existing food and since then the menu has stayed as it is. So today I notice billboards up around town for a burrito.

They do three of them. Original, Zinger and Pulled Chicken. Personally I was hoping the pulled chicken range would die, not get bigger. Anyway, anyone had one of these? I kind of don't want to be first.

Original Recipe Burrito
Our classic Original Recipe Chicken as you've never seen it before. A soft tortilla packed with spicy rice, beans and salsa, then toasted to perfection - this burrito is perfect for lunch on the go.

Zinger Chicken Burrito
Pack more into lunch with Zinger Chicken, spicy rice, beans and salsa all wrapped in a soft tortilla, then toasted to perfection. Add a little spice to your lunch break!

Pulled Chicken Burrito
Take time to appreciate the taste of slow-cooked Pulled Chicken with authentic spicy rice, beans and salsa, all wrapped in a soft tortilla shell, then toasted to perfection. This burrito demands your full appreciation.

Good to see more Burritos here, but why would I get KFC instead of Tortilla? Or any other Mexican place.

Tortilla is only in London and a small select few other places. Personally, there aren't any mexican places within a rather large radius of me. Rather wish there were, mind.

Pinto is pretty big up here, quite a few in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

No vegetarian version?

I forgot that KFC had Chicken in there somewhere, ah well.

Speaking of which, does anyone know a good Burrito places in London (and for that matter in Birmingham)

I ate one near Angel Station, and it was really good. Would love to try other places out.

Why don't they just go ahead and bring Taco Bell over?

That Demolition Man reference has to be explained to our UK brethren one of these days.

I was going to say Chilango's by Angel station, but you've already been there. The roasted pork burrito is so damn good.

That's pretty funny considering they don't even have Taco Bell. (No, having the one doesn't count)

I imagine your average Brit has not heard of a burrito - they're always called "wraps" over there.

No mate, we call them wappitywipwraps. Get it right.

I don't think I've ever heard anyone calling a burrito a wrap here.

Nothing like some nice authentic Mexican food from your local KFC.

Texan friend of mine said mexican fast food is basically the same ingredients it's just folded differently

Mexican fast food is just an endless variety of rice, beans and meat housed in various kinds of tortillas.

Had one earlier. Needless to say, it looked absolutely nothing like the pictures & was actually folded into a square & had a spoonful of rice at the most in there.
