Not Sony problem, they´ll keep selling Consoles at record pace and SW sales are stronger than ever, Plus has 50M subs and PSN has over 115M users.

I don't know, but that's not really what I'm talking about. What the inclusion of a game on the service does to its sales outside is pretty meaningless, because it's on it. What matters is what such a service does to the rest of the platform, and how it changes the buying habits of its customers. Attach ratio on X1 was rather poor, in comparison, so how will the prevalence of such a subscription affect it? Probably not in a positive way, and it's already becoming common to see PS5 versions outsell Series version by big margins.

Anecdotally scalpers won't buy them of course, and would also dripfeed their stock to try to maximize the profits.
I guess it works out at the end, then again UK have always been the Sony's turf it's weird that we have Switch sales on top for a while, ports even.

Actually, UK was the main Xbox territory in Europe during the 360 era. It turned around a bit during PS4 era but it wasn't always a Sony territory.

And look at this. It has legs because when everything is in stock, the game charts in top 5 or top 3. The ps5 version is 80 - 90% of sales. Man did it bomb.

Exactly. Microsoft is grooming its costumers into the habit of not buying any games but rather waiting for them to come to Game pass instead.
You can see this habit in full display here where some people are saying that game pass is the best value in gaming and why buy games anymore when you can wait for it to come to Game pass.
I'm sure Microsoft is betting on the future where they will become the Netflix of gaming, but this logic is flawed because Netflix is available everywhere for free, you just need to pay for the subscription. The userbase it already there. However, for Microsoft in the console space, you need to sell hardware first in order to sell software. Different ball game.
I'm sure their software sales are much worse than last gen. Its only going to get worst from now unit they end up being the Netflix of gaming and they won't care as much for software and hardware sales. No way it happens this gen though. Sony will dominate software sales of third party as the result of this for now.

Well it is main xbox territory in Europe - after all xbox is outsold by less than 2:1 in UK while when we get data from other countries it's usually 4:1 or more

It also goes against the narrative that exclusives sell consoles so I like it (since Xbox has no exclusives

Pretty much. 5 months in no less. And if the gap widens further, even faster, this is only going to snowball even worse. Their 2020 was blistering with momentum ontop of having a relatively strong launch. PS Plus collection and Plus offering are adding to that attractiveness.

Idk how about demon souls,sackboy and the pathless to name a few not to mention all the multiplats. The ps5 has more than enough to play especially with ps4 BC.
