They are crazy if they release the Wii U version of Zelda the same day, atleast now we know why their stock for the worldwide launch is only 2 million units
Throw in Smash 4 and Mario Maker and thats what Launch should have looked like

But as far as I'm concerned this system doesn't really launch until Q4.

So weird how Smash isn't even mentioned for 2017, Mario Maker too honestly.
At least by holiday 2017 with those two and everything else it would be a really tempting purchase.

I'm surprised that Tekken isn't there.
It is releasing the same day. I just put in my preorder on Amazon for the Wii U version.

You can get half price off at GAME if you trade in a PS4, X1, iPhone 6 or Galaxy S6.
Steep is on there as 2017.

I actually really liked the presentation last night and the line up they have for the year over all but definitely thinking summer might be the sweet spot to jump in after retailers stop gouging £60 for the launch window games and there's a bit more to play. Right now it would really just be for me to play Zelda and I'd rather when I buy it I can really get the whole family excited with arms, Mario Kart, Splatoon, maybe even yooka lay Lee if that's out.
Xenoverse 2 coming to Switch too eh.
Not that it interests me too much, but same publisher for Dark souls and that was rumoured.
I'll be shocked if Xenoblade 2 does come out this year. I somehow just don't believe it, in fact I'm pretty sure it'll be delayed if it'd the real plan.
If they do release it this year though, better chance I'll want a switch this year.
Surprised we've had no mention of SSB switch either. Even just being a port I would think it'd be a big popular game for switch. (That and the amiibo.)
The way I see it at the moment, I'm only confident with getting Zelda with Switch and MK8 Deluxe shortly after it. I don't feel confident with XB2 or even the new Mario game coming this year.

See, a launch like the Wii U's would have worked well for this console. Lots and lots of ports from month old games, yes, but portability would be a massive factor. Look at the Skyrim excitement.

When Mario comes out up to 3/4 of a year later it really stretches the boundaries of "launch lineup"

How many of you would've bought more than LoZ? They gave that game the spotlight and it is smart. Why drown the other games. Release those small games to round up the launch and then release more megatons in a good pace.

To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Unless the VC and EShop has some great stuff in the first 3 months, I won't be buying a Switch until September / October.
