I actually know quite a few people who would pick it up if it had VC and component out. I really don't understand why they gimped it so badly and still charge that much for it.
Doesn't change the fact it is bringing in next to no revenue for Nintendo.People scoffed at the Game Boy Mini when is came out and doomed at retail. But look at it now and it's a major collectors item. The Wii Mini may well become a collectors item as much.
You are not comparing similar scenarios at all.People scoffed at the Game Boy Mini when is came out and doomed at retail. But look at it now and it's a major collectors item. The Wii Mini may well become a collectors item as much.
I believe it's supposed to be a misleading shot, but nevertheless there's only so much you can shrink a console that's barely larger than a disc drive at it is.
And... yeah, this kind of console release may've worked to some extent in the 90s, cutting out stuff like above composite video, but it's bullshit today and lunacy to leave out wi-fi. And while not essential the lack of an SD slot does make it a dead end for saves.
I was thinking, zero interest world wide. Maybe they won't run it for long, maybe pick one up as a collectors piece. And then you can tell your grandkids abou the failed Wii Mini.
Has demand for a console ever fallen so abruptly? Maybe the original Xbox?
It's crazy how the lead of the Wii was over 5 mil to the PS3 in 2009, three years later it's down to 3.5 mil in Japan. Crazy how the Wii popularity died out Worldwide.
Wouldn't be too sure of that

Didn't even know it released here. Was this not Canada exclusive?
Worst piece of shit revision ever. Deserves to sell 0 units. Like there is not one redeeming quality about the thing
It was to begin with but nobody believed they really designed it just for Canada.
First Canada, then Europe, then THE WORLD!
Well, it looks nice.
