This can't be cheap. The camera operators, the director, the tech crew, graphics dudes, the hosts, I would assume paying YouTube as well. Can't be cheap, if it was everyone would do it. Which is why I would assume they will offer paid multi-stream in the future. I could be wrong though about all that speculation.


And....there goes my stream...

Youtube stream is actually free. Well I kno tomorrowland doesn't have to pay a single dime to youtube.

I can even stream on youtube live for free :/

I know individuals can stream for free, not sure if they start charging at some point based on audience. Even if they don't have to pay YouTube, the production isn't free.

The same goes with his productions, he just tells his Ghost Producers to make whatever's hot right now
 
I immediately regret listening to Tiesto instead of the last 30 minutes of Carl. I will have to rectify this and listen to his set tomorrow.

Yep. Tiesto's problem is not about the genre or style, it's the appalling lack of inspiration or creativity. He's just a biter at this point. Whatever is hot at the moment, if he's not putting the same synth lines as his "Tiesto remix" to track, he's trying to make a piss poor copy of the song. His recent releases just scream "I CAN BE LIKE HARDWELL! CHECK OUT MY ZEDD-INSPIRED STUFF!"

Damn shame. Tiesto was awesome.

Yeah I completely agree, Kaskade's set right before him shows exactly that. Like, that set was the same style but WAY more killer

My buddy looks like pretty similar to Carl Cox and he has an English accent (grew up in the UK, lived in the US for 15 years), he went to Winter Music Conference for work a couple of years ago and kept getting comped into clubs and pulled aside for pics wherever he went. Said he finally understood the whole celebrity thing after that experience.

Just got back to my building from Day 1.

I give the 1st day a B+ Got in just in time to catch Eric Prydz, fucking awesome as always. Stayed for Kaskade cause some friends wanted to see him, and he was pretty damn good. But as soon as Tiesto came on I had to ditch my friends, told them I'd be at the only place that matters right now. Carl fucking Cox. He fucking killed it as he always does, had the most fun in there. Got a text a bit back that my friends decided to ditch Tiesto and go to Carl Cox too cause they weren't feeling his set haha.

I'm about to upload some videos, damn phone died just as I got to Carl so only a couple videos of him :( And the Mainstage is HOLY FUCK AMAZING in person. The giant vortex in the middle along with the lasers, video or words just can't do it justice.

Wait let me add Motherfucking Julio Bashmore. Just as must see as Dusky. Au Seve can bring every house down.

Diplo was alright. The stream cut out of his set early because they were having audio problems, though ><
