Earlier today, Reddit user "dudSpudson" posted a link to an anonymously sourced audio clip of that un-bleeped, closing exchange between Kyle, Jesus, and Santa, in which they present that entire story’s tongue-in-cheek moral conclusion: that the best way to get what you want is to threaten other people with violence. Here’s a video with the restored audio, thanks to Reddit commenter “sp201.”

And here’s a transcript, on the very good chance that either the audio or video may be removed:

KYLE: That's because there is no goo, Mr. Cruise. You see, I learned something today. Throughout this whole ordeal, we've all wanted to show things that we weren't allowed to show, but it wasn't because of some magic goo. It was because of the magical power of threatening people with violence. That's obviously the only true power. If there's anything we've all learned, it's that terrorizing people works.
JESUS: That's right. Don't you see, gingers, if you don't want to be made fun of anymore, all you need are guns and bombs to get people to stop.
SANTA: That's right, friends. All you need to do is instill fear and be willing to hurt people and you can get whatever you want. The only true power is violence.

Wow. I remember watching that and being amazed by how censored it was. At first I thought that the insane amount of bleeped dialogue was an in-joke about how censored the issue/episodes were at the time.

Hearing the bleeped version at the time was one of the most depressing things ever, it was practically confirming that threats of violence were more powerful than individual freedom.

I never knew the whole backstory on what happened with this episode, all I remember is being really confused by it.

It is indeed quite ironic that threats of violence caused CC to censor this speech about how effective violence is.

I thought the same thing.

Exactly what I thought before I found out the truth.

Perfect. And the fact that it was bleeped out (and then banned) really pissed me off at the time. I hope CC eventually grows some balls and releases 201 the way it was meant to be seen.

It will never happen. From what I recall I think it's even edited on the DVDs - Edit: I guess it'd have to be since this is the first time the dialogue has been discovered.

Because a Muslim site made some veiled semi-threat to the people of Comedy Central after episode 200 aired.

Let me get this right.

In response to a show that was showing the irony of threatening people with violence to get what you want, they threatened people with violence in order to get what they wanted?

I thought Matt and Trey were going to leave cc after this, especially after their "Watch next week's episode to see if comedy central pussies out" trail on the previous episode.

I thought so too. They definitely posted some vague threats about being done afterwards. I seem to recall them posting something along the lines of "we don't know where we go from here.". I'm guessing CC threw a giant bag of cash at them when their contracts were up.

Well. I mean it was a pretty over the top episode that most would consider in bad taste >.<

Shark raping a disabled kid and what nots.

They have never pushed back on anything other than Muhammed afaik. Plus I think part of the reason they still make them is they basically have total creative freedom due to essentially making CC what they are today.

Edit Which was why I feared they would leave after the censoring. South Park goes after everyone, there is no sacred lambs or wasn't until CC bowed to terror.

Huh, Muslims without a sense of humour.
Talk about playing to stereotype.
What compels you to say something like this? It's incredibly rude and ignorant.

"Huh, blacks without a sense of hard work. Talk about playing to a stereotype."

It's not even a stereotype, Christians get really mad over movies too, start protesting, the whole nine yards. Same over religious comedy like that Kevin Smith Dogma movie XD. Maybe not to the level of death threats, don't know the specifics, but religious fundamenalists don't take well to these things.

I'm not sure I understand. The point being made is so obvious it's almost facile. Why was it censored? Or was it just a gag?

It's cool to finally hear it. The commentary from Matt and Trey on the episodes are pretty insightful too. I wish they would have gone forward with one of the planned gags involving a character showing up to say "I am the prophet Mohammed... No I'm not. Yes I am. Or not." to see if CC would have censored it, haha.

It was censored because it exposed how pathetic, cowardly, and ultimately dangerous the decision to cower to threats of violence was (by the studio). The boys, in this case, got the message that they were sent. This is what they learned, because this is what Comedy Central is teaching.

Just brilliant.
