Uncertainty over Dragon Age: Inquisition 2014 release

I don't really care, I prefer they take their time .
Besides, we have The Witcher 3 coming next year also .

I want a Dragon Age experience and not a Dragon Age 2 experience.

Well, they did promise a lot with Dragon Age Inquisition and they need to deliver a great game this time. I can only see another delay as a good thing.

The other DA:I news that has been coming out is that they don't know what the game will really be yet. They're polling the community for ideas. They need a lot of time for this because rushed Dragon Age games are shiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!

I'm pretty excited for this game (it will be my first DA) but if the delay is going to improve the game that's all fine with me.Polish dat shit Bioware.

Originally the game wasn't going to have playable races either. So I'm all for delays if it leads to such changes. And it's not like EA is going to let them sit on it forever.

Delay it for as long as it takes. ME3 and DA2 were painfully undercooked.

With that kind of thinking devs could delay games for 10 years and all is good.

it works for valve , PD etc

if a game is bad and can't be fixed they should just cancel and start over

We're paying for a good game, I don't care about them, if they duke nukem their game they weren't up to making a good game to begin with.

Looks way better than expected after DAII. I guess that's what happens when you don't rush titles to market.

Take all the the time you need and pick a smart release date without too much competition.

Take your time. DA2 was good but could have been great with another 6 months of development. DA:O was among the best games of this generation and it took 5 years. Give them time to get it right this time EA.

It sounds purely like they're trying to space out their releases. If it is indeed pushed back, that doesn't necessarily imply that the game will actually have any more work done to it. It could just sit, finished, until its intended release date.

Don't be ridiculous.
...They'll make a bunch of dlc during that time.

Completely agree with the overall sentiment here.

I'd much rather they keep baking it longer and make sure it's a mind blowing experience, than they rush it and it ends up broken or a shadow of what it could have been.

No Dragon Age II please.

If its not ready for 2014 then I don't mind as long as its good, polished and matches the expectations I have after the original.

If Bioware aren't given the time they need for this it will kill probably kill the franchise after the second one.

As long as The Witcher 3 doesn't get delayed as well thats fine.
