The problem with a delay this long is that the graphics that are good in 2014 will be less good in 2015. It is a little known fact but graphics degrade over time.

Bioware, you need to check yourself before you wreck yourself.

DAI is a cross-gen title. It already looks like nothing special right now, it'll look dated in the end of 2014 and it'll look very dated in 2015.

Originally the game wasn't going to have playable races either. So I'm all for delays if it leads to such changes. And it's not like EA is going to let them sit on it forever.

if a game is bad and can't be fixed they should just cancel and start over

Take all the the time you need and pick a smart release date without too much competition.

Take your time. DA2 was good but could have been great with another 6 months of development. DA:O was among the best games of this generation and it took 5 years. Give them time to get it right this time EA.

It sounds purely like they're trying to space out their releases. If it is indeed pushed back, that doesn't necessarily imply that the game will actually have any more work done to it. It could just sit, finished, until its intended release date.

Completely agree with the overall sentiment here.

I'd much rather they keep baking it longer and make sure it's a mind blowing experience, than they rush it and it ends up broken or a shadow of what it could have been.

If Bioware aren't given the time they need for this it will kill probably kill the franchise after the second one.

It's been in development for a long enough time. It was orginially supposed come out this year. Too many delays is a bad thing too.
