UNCHARTED 3: TV Spot #1

No because the characters are slow and you are forced to run like in cod.
You only listed one problem out and that was the powerups. I can see not liking the speed, but who is to say they are not tweeking it after the beta?

At first I wondered in Drake was going to glide into the crashing cargo plane (presumably from another crashing/exploding plane because our boy is like 3-1 odds to destroy every vehicle he touches) and then get a chute or else control the crash a bit Bond-style but looking at it again and again it doesn't look like that can happen. Planes already exploding and tipped right over... god I can't wait to find out how he survives that shit. :D

And yeah it's crazy how I'd seen several trailers with him and it never once occurred to me that the dude in the suit looks a LOT like Nate.

I liked him more when he looked like Jason Statham.
Because they are the same character, right?
Different guy. Jason Statham's name is Cutter, he's one of Marlowe's thugs. Drake Senior seems to be her accomplice, or even her boss.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but every vehicle Nate's entered in the entire series has been destroyed. The only two to come out unscathed are the jeeps Elena drives that he only spends about twenty seconds on before jumping onto a train/plane, and they probably had engine trouble off screen or something. I guess the jet skis from the first game made it out OK? I feel bad for that horse.

Just realised he actually uses the plane to push himself to the correct direction lol.

How is that possible.

I don't think he's anywhere near the plane, he's just flailing in empty air. That plane's enormous, the tip of the wing is far bigger than he is, it just looks weird due to the perspective.

So the only way I can think that he survives is that he catches a parachute from the plane debris as it's crashing down, puts it on while falling and lands safely in the sand dunes.
You haven't seen how it ends?

Drake grabs and hangs onto the tail of the plane, his weight pulls the rear of the plane down allowing it to land on its wheels, then he burns through the soles of his shoes on the runway as he applies the brakes

Yeah, dat parallax.

My internet provider is giving me so much troubles with my modem/router that the first thing I think is how bad I need internet to play this awesome game!

...Oh yeah the ad was great!

What makes me not want to play the MP can't be fixed. It's not a draw for me

And what was that if I may ask, sir? I really liked the Beta and some of the changes, but I must admit, after the Beta I did not touch Uncharted 2. Couple of days ago I decided to play a little MP and I must say that I forgot how great can a "simple" be. I say simple when it comes to no streaks, no weapons mods, etc, etc.

Just me and some guns I get on the way, it's awesome.

Ps: Does anyone know if something happen if you disconnect from an online game in UC3? Any word?

I ask cause my internet has been failing me and, because of my loss of connection in UC2 I get money taken and went from almost level 45 to level 44 at the start =/

Is he using the wing of that falling AC-130 to maneuver himself? Look, I love Uncharted and all, but this is close to approaching jumping the shark territory.

It's got to be a coincidence in the animation because otherwise the scale of the plane is way out of wack.

Only if that is a model airplane.

Obviously not. He's too big, he's wayyyy closer to the camera than the plane.

I don't think it's something I can put into word. There isn;'t anything wrong with the mp, not mechanically and not technically. I just don't have much when I play it against other people. The co-op however I always enjoyed.

That would be the moment it comes close to jumping the shark?

I suppose. Other set pieces in previous games didn't come close to jumping the shark. They might have been outrageous, but not ridiculous.

Yep, this looks to be the case. I hope ND is not that dumb anyway :p

Thanks for clarifying. Glad he's still in.
