i swear down if game developers to change something in their game there is always that stupid person that will label as a downgrade.

I wonder if that scene from the teaser even exists in the game. Honestly just the intricate facial animation alone is a step beyond what I've seen of UC4.

Uncharted 4 really has made PC fans insecure as fuck. That Reddit post made the front page twice through that dumbass subreddit.

What was the point of this post? Why even bother trying to stir the beehive by calling out a random subreddit and then saying "PC fans" implying we all give a shit?
 
The return of this topic is silly to me having finished the game and my coverage video of it. Uncharted 4 is THE most technically accomplished console game on the market today. I guarantee people are going to be absolutely floored by what has been accomplished here - and not just the big stuff either. There are a lot of techniques used in UC4 that really should be adopted by other studios, if possible, as they truly are a game changer.

Would love to see UC4 at 4k like I get to do with QB.

No way NEO/PS4K will pull it off, but I look forward to any improvement.
How the hell are you playing Quantum Break at 4k? There is no card on the planet that can run it smoothly at true 2160p.

The Fury X, which is the fastest card for QB, can barely even manage 1080p60 at Xbox One settings.

Framerate aside, how do you think UC4 stands in comparison with some of the higher end stuff on PC?

This is just ridiculous.

Higher frame rate = more temporal data = more descenrable detail, specially in chaotic/fast scenes, as well as much smoother movement and animations. All of those thigns can and do add up to a better looking, more immersive game, completely aside from the improved handling and responsiveness.

Bottom line is this game looks amazing (I would still drinkg that swamp water!), and it would look better at 60 FPS.

Notice that I said SEE....not PLAY. LOL

It runs downsampled at 4k all ultra, no upscaling. I'm not PLAYING the game at that setting though. Just screenshots. (see the OT thread for some).

I wonder how it would run on all low in 4k....haven't tried it yet.

what even is this, I mean if 'fps' is something you feel, not see' - then high frame rate video wouldn't work.. right? All those 60fps videos are really just.. no different than 30fps videos?

I'd thought this was pretty simple, more visual data is.. more visual data. You see more visual data in the same time span (1 second) at 60fps than 30, same with 120 vs 60, etc. What an odd post.

I know there are people that will disagree. Some, purely out of principle. But having played the first hour of Uncharted 4, it's a stunning piece of work. It looks great, it feels great, it's very responsive. 60fps would be lovely, but the 30fps is a complete non-issue as far as I am concerned. I have no complaint.

Thats performance, not graphics. And they said they were targeting 60 fps.
Which is the right thing to do, you target 60fps and it's guaranteed you're gonna have a locked 30fps game, same applied to Drive Club. More developers should target 60fps for good framerates in their games, so we don't see all these sub 30fps messes.

Should've targeted 90 fps then to get it to run at 60.
