Uncharted Trophies Coming August 22

While listening to the Playstation Nation Podcast we heard that the Uncharted Trophies are coming on the 22nd of August which is just under a month away. Quite a while for those craving for them.

We contacted Naughty Dog earlier for confirmation and one of the representatives responded with:

“Yes, trophies will be released on August 22 if all goes to plan”

I’m sure it will go to plan, Naughty Dog are always on target. With Trophies on the way for Uncharted, i think i’m going to play through the game again just to get the Trophies and level up.

I am already 3 chapters down. I'm glad I didn't go further because then I don't have to do the whole thing all over again (although it's been fun so far).
 
I was about to call bullshit since 22nd is a friday but I guess patches just get released whenever.

Will be playing it all over again then :) I think they
will be probably look almost the same as the in game trophy list.

Didn't Uncharted have "medals" or whatever to earn in game? It'll probably just duplicate that.

they either didn't actually talk to someone at Naughty Dog (I would have heard about it) or they were clearly talking to someone who doesn't know their shit. Beatings will commence tomorrow...

TalkPlayStation says they contacted Naughty Dog.

I'm interested to find out who.
 
I'm kind of hoping the trophy patch can just read your save game medals. I have every medal so I really don't want to take the time to go back through the game multiple times to get them again even though it is a great game.

I've just finished Uncharted and I feel like playing it again. But I'm going to wait for the trophies update before I replay it. :D
 
Yanno, I'd actually -welcome- playing through it again. Even if it meant having to delete my old save to get the treasure trophies... if there are any.
 
Not bad, if true. Actually, I will never ever play it on the hardest setting - it really was kind of inhuman (imo). I guess, you'll have to do that to get all the Trohpies... :/
 
The podcast only says "Trophies in the middle of next month" which is what Evan told Joy stiq in an interview:

Too bad , i traded it after beating the game on all difficulties . any word on a prospective greatest hits edition ?? at $29 , i might get it again , then.
 
If it doesn't do the save checking I'll have a reason to chart crushing again which is a bigger gift than trophies. The only annoyance would be playing on hard to unlock crushing again if I had to do that. Most of the other medals come naturally through playing.

Seconded. Who cares about save game sharing to get trophies? Even if you were sneaky and lame enough to do this you could only do so with games that are adding trophies retroactively and there aren't really that many of 'em.

It's most likely the medal list already in the game. It is very exhaustive and the game is linear enough that there isn't a lot of breadth to draw trophy ideas from. The only new things I can think of are derivatives of medals:
-shoot x barrels
-do melee attack x (square square square, wall push, face slam, drop kick)
-kills with mounted gun
 
God damn, time to replay it again then.
