Was I the only one who played this game? Because its awesome.

Nope, i played that game and it was great.
^ both of thos games

Im so mad this isnt on psn

This. I remember emailing someone about Silent Bomber availability on PSN. The response was something like "wow, we never though there is demand! We will look into it!"
It's on the Japanese PSN if that helps...

-Die Hard Trilogy
-Ehrgeiz

Tail Concerto!

Overlooked but super charming game <3

Loved the demo of this as a kid, took forever to play through since it was a fairly beefy demo... and all in Japanese lol. Man Jampack had some awesome import demos, talk about ahead of its time. Need to find a copy and play the whole thing. Heard there was a successor to it but never looked it up before.

Rogue Trip: Vacation 2012

I am really glad i lived in that era man games back then had something different than nowadays they were memorable and had soul i don't think i will ever feel the same about present day games in the future.

How is this compared to the PS2 sequel? For someone just getting into the series.

3 is serviceable but 2 is way better. On top of that SEED was represented way better in Gundam SEED Destiny on GBA so if you have to play a SEED fighter then that's where you'll get your fix.

Best fighter in the business that uses only 2 buttons and having that at the time anime feel really helped give the game a cool hook.

Adventure Of Little Ralph gets my pick. Japan only and probably only sold a couple thousand there. However, it's on JPSN.

It's 2D arcade side-scrolling action platforming with an emphasis on time attack and score attack, with awesome sprites, music, etc. Only bad part is boss fights where your character transforms into an adult and the game shifts over to pure 2D fighter. However, this game does it better than any other game I've played that does this (ummm, god of war and can't think of what else, but I know there are more.)

is this the one where you transform into adult when fighting boss? I REMEMBER THIS GEM!

Most of these are known and loved as fuck.

I think some people are not understanding what's the topic about.

People don't talk about this game enough. A classic, which pushed the PSone hard.

Also, where is it on PSN, Sony?

Vandal Hearts 2.

While the first Vandal Hearts gets a fair amount of love, the sequel is often hated. I actually enjoyed having you and the enemy move a character at same time. The story in VH2 was very good as well.

Guardians Crusade.

A charming RPG. Yeah it is pretty easy, but I had a ton of fun playing it.

Vanguard Bandits and Saiyuki Journey West are also pretty good SRPGs.

add another vote for Rollcage an excellent arcade racer with fresh mechanics. and another for Rogue trip one of the funnest twisted metal clones for singleplayer.

This is probably the best traffic simulator puzzle game ever released.

QHUhFTW.jpg

It's Artdink's port/remake of Masterpiece's Traffic Confusion II, first released on Windows. You have to solve each map by optimizing traffic patterns, managing parking, and keeping roads fit to travel on; once you reach a set level of driver satisfaction or make quota within a time limit, you win...or lose, as the occasional accident or negligence in detail can set you back both in budget and in favor.

Was gonna post this. I want a sequel to this game, but we need Mega Man Legends 3 first.

Also, it turns out that this is one of the rarest PS1 games.

It's not that rare, I bought it for $100 right after MML3 got cancelled, resold it for $115 earlier this year. It's not common, it's a tad expensive, but since the actual amount of people that like the Legend series was pretty low there isn't a ton of competition for it.

On topic: Mega Man Legends everything.

Vandal Hearts and Bishi Bashi Special are rad. I'll never understand Fighting Force fans...maybe because I never played it as a kid but when I tried it a few years ago I thought that game fucking sucked.

I wanted to love this game as a RE fan but man... I could never figure out where to go in this freaking game. Even tried with a guide a few years ago and still was lost. Seems to have been a common complaint about it at the time as well. Did some cool things though like very unique character attacks and a split story.

Really want to try again but I know I will get stuck lol.

Nostalgia the thread. Damn, seeing this makes my PS1 collection tiny back at the time. Klonoa was really good from what I remember, not too sure if it's considered an underrated game though?

I'd love to see this on PSN.

3 is serviceable but 2 is way better. On top of that SEED was represented way better in Gundam SEED Destiny on GBA so if you have to play a SEED fighter then that's where you'll get your fix.

And this!

Man, this thread has so much nostalgia.
