I've gotta go with Legend of Legaia. One of my top 5 games on the PS1, for sure.

Fighting Force!
Now, for some ones NOT mentioned!

Still very upset it has not been rereleased on PSN. Let alone have some sort of remake. Open City game where you fly a futuristic cop vehicle around, scanning other vehicles to determine if that is your suspect, bombing runs, dog fights and more! Almost like Colony Wars, on a planet. And oh yea, Colony Wars!!
There it is. Definitely, as long as you can get over the awful cutscenes.

Ore no Ryouri, the BEST cooking game ever. It used the dual sticks on the dual shock really well and has a amazingly fun VS mode. Find this one on the bay and treat yourself, its really really nice (and you don't really need to understand japanese)
Digimon World!

Maan this game. It was expansive, exploration filled, had nice graphics, interesting evoution/raising mechanics and lots of side activities. Had a fake ending and everything.
Awesome game. It even got a sequel (Bombastic on the PS2).Devil Dice, originally known as Xi in Japan. Probably the best and most insane multiplayer puzzle game I've ever played. Don't let the crappy US cover deceive you - this game is absolutely amazing.
This was a competent fighter featuring Final Fantasy VII characters and a unique RPG dungeon mode.
Haha...well, I was pretty new to 3D fighters when I played it, so I'm sure that shaped my perception to some degree. I even had fun with Masters of Teras Kasi, if you can believe that.1st bold - strongly disagree
Nostalgia the thread. Damn, seeing this makes my PS1 collection tiny back at the time. Klonoa was really good from what I remember, not too sure if it's considered an underrated game though?
Well...
Alundra comes to mind. Was pretty underrated and fell into the shadow of Final Fantasy 7 & Resident Evil 2.
Man, some great games in here - that nostalgia. I'll go with my favorite 3D fighting game of all time:

I might have already posted in this thread ... I forgot.
Anyway! This game is amazing. Completely kicks WipEout's ass, imo. It just seemed to come out at a bad time.

One lf the best srpg's of all time, deserves it's rightful spot in pantheon besides Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre.
The father of DMC lol
*Rising Zan*
And it's already mentioned but i think that Skullmonkeys is the best platformer ever made
Split-screen campaign co-op and an excellent base defense/attack mode.
I've actually been replaying this, and while the story holds up pretty well for being riddled with cliches and tropes, the dialogue can get almost offensively bad. And I have a feeling it's mostly because of the translation. A lot of it is uncouth, vulgar humor that really walks the line (and that mostly went over my head back in the day).![]()
Kneel before mecha pope
Yeah, there are so many covers I'm seeing and memories of walks through Blockbuster are flooding back to me with slices of gameplay cutting in. PSOne was so wonderful.I love to read through these threads because they make me realize how many good games I've forgotten through the years.

People don't talk about this game enough. A classic, which pushed the PSone hard.
Also, where is it on PSN, Sony?
It was probably the first Dota/LoL of it's kind.
