Wow that Gamespot review is just sad. I thought the IGN was bad, but this tops it.
I hope 1up has a good review cause I know Wellie isn't doing the nextgen one. He got stuck with the extra special NBA Live07 for PS2 and PSP. Didn't DM say that the PS2 game was the worst basketball game he has ever played?? I feel bad for Wellie.

So if you come across anything, the answer might lay in there somewhere. There's already reports of bugs and glitches with 2 player Streetball, and some odd graphical things here and there.
Not bringing the game down as work will be HELL tomorrow waiting to pick up my game, but information always helps. Report it, then 2k can patch it up.

I didn't think Live was horrible last year. Just needed a few tweaks and addition of modes to be a good game. I will try them both out.

For those who may be considering getting Live over 2K7, just think about the stellar online experience that has been the lagalicious Madden online experience and that should pretty much settle it. EA has yet to patch the fatigue glitch in Madden and their lack of concern for their customers is despicable. 2K's effort with the NHL franchise this year and the fact that all of the games I have played with NHL 2K7 have been lag free and amazing makes considering EA's franchises for me unthinkable.

I don't play sports games online so none of that lag or disconnects really affect me at all. I am just saying, I bought both games last year and both had positives and negatives. Probably will be the same this year once we break both games down.

Well, there's no way I can afford two, so it's 2K7 for me (at 12:30 TODAY!!). I was just hoping I'd be able to convince myself that ESPN integration was all it had to offer. I'll get over it. Probably at about 12:31 PM today.

Honestly,why is everyone expecting Live to be so bad?Live on the 360 last year was an awesome game with a few problems and some animations that needed ironing out.I haven't even watched a video of this years version,but I really doubt it has gotten worse than what they had last year...and Live ran pretty smooth online last year,especially compared to Madden...

Note: I hit all my free throws in the demo. Even shot 2 for 2 with Shaq one game. Just gotta know how your players shoot. It ain't gonna be easy though.

Isn't that kind of true with any b-ball game online? Unless you know the person you are playing, there is a good chance that you will get crossovered to death. Until developers make some kind of fatigue hit for multiple cossovers+spins in a row, that will be a problem.
BTW, Best Buy near me already has both games in. Might want to check the bb.com site to see if it is in your area.

Quick little write-up on both games. This guy is not an EA homie or 2k homie, so his statement has some weight. I'm going to rent Live this year, but 2k is getting bought today.
