Interestingly, 2.0 FIXED all of my internet lock-ups. I haven't had a single one since, and they used to be pretty frequent.
 
I just hope it fixes the super crazy amount of controller drop-outs I got as soon as 2.0 hit, seriously no fucking joke I went from like three over a 9 month period to like 3 a day.
 
Someone check if Information Bar + XMB still lags a bit? It doesn't lag for me but some people said it was....?

Yea, well that's all the fucking info I had so what the fuck did you want to know and seeing as no one knows what it does yet I guess I couldn't put to much in the fucking OP. Some of you people are way to anal about little things you want to do it better make it yourself, I was just letting people know it was up.

kof looks slightly sharper imo then guilty gear but it may vary depending on your tv
 
You know, it's nice that they are on top of issues and are quick out with updates, but I'm starting to get a bit tired of having to constantly updating my system. If it was some transparent process it'd be one thing, but this shit locks you out of using your system until the update is downloaded and installed.

well I fixed the OP a bit and I might have missed a few things so if anyone could let me know do so and I'll update it. I'll say it again all I was doing was letting you all know it was up because no one had posted about it yet, I wasn't going for a sweet epic thread and really I could care less, trust me I've seen far more worthless threads then this one.

oh and apparently my title isn't good enough either? Well how do you change it so I can spice it up a bit for you?

I was having problems with dvd scaling not filling the screen, but I wasn't sure if it was due to the new box set of house I had bought, or firmware, and I hadn't tried any older movies I had already watched yet. hopefully this fixes it
 
I updated and then went back to AC. No crashes or freezes yet, but I had only had a half dozen or so up till now so that's not evidence of 2.01 fixing any AC specific problems.

I kinda hate even saying it, but it almost feels like AC runs a bit better. It's likely just my imagination and a bit of placebo effect... but Jerusalem was a bit jankier last night. Maybe. Kinda. Perhaps. Probably not, but.

Yes, but I only got it tonight and it never froze on me and ran just fine all the way through for me. I'll play it again later but I was only an hour or so in when I quit so I doubt I could judge much of anything.

In AC I'm about to ride out to do one of the last missions, I'll see if it feels any smoother in the Kingdom. Again, I'd bet it was all in my head but shit I wouldn't begrudge even a placebo effect if it made me at least think some of the technical shakiness was improved. If a 2 minute .01 update fools me into thinking a chugging game is running better I say Sony should release one every couple of days. ;)

My update is at 40% and has been going for a couple hours. I think it's still the whole thing (not just a small patch).

Also, I read a report from the Ubisoft forum thread about AC crashes - one guy who had crashes every 30 sec (I don't know how you get multiple crashes - maybe he means frame or screen tearing) says he hasn't had any for at least half an hour.

Thanks for letting me know it's up, but I could have used the official Playstation link because my cable modem keeps dropping our connection.

Although, their site isn't updated yet.

I had a customer come today complaining about AC freezing. He exchanged his PS3 for a new one... although I told him it was the game itself. I didn't know at the time there was a firmware update coming that was supposed to fix issues with AC. Oh well... I let him exchange it and I told him he needs to connect his PS3 to the net to update it and download demos.

I make sure anyone who buys a PS3 or 360 has internet access and I tell them to update them and download demos. You'd be surprised at how many people don't bother to download demos or connect their 360s or PS3s online. It's stupid really, especially when they have cable/dsl.

Again with the Warhawk BS! Before it was Warhawk lags, now all of a sudden you say it crashes! Like I said before there aren't any problems with Warhawk as I play the game pretty well every day.

I played from Chapter 7 to 17 tonight, I haven't had any problems with crashes or freezes. I've only heard of one problem reported in the official thread, something about freezing at the end of chapter 12 or 13 for one person.

Hey, it's good that you haven't experienced one single crash but some of us do experience it. I believe manky made several posts about wh crashing his system as well.

Before you start accusing people, at least go check the offical warhawk forum/thread and you'll find out I am not the only one who has brought up warhawk crashing his/her system. Or better yet go google warhawk crashing. Jeebus, some of you guys are way too sensitive.
