US/CAN Club Nintendo Thread: New and improved. Read the OP.

I just want the charging cradle to be restocked. Fucking NoA mayn. Club Nintendo's suppose to be a loyalty rewards program. Make the rewards worth our investment and loyalty please.

guys should i buy the stupid basket or not... i am so torn. do the prizes get better or not

The prizes get......*sighs* well you learn to make the best of things and hope gold/platinum rewards are worth it.

I've been waiting forever for Club Nintendo to restock the awesome Red and Blue pouches. I am desperate for a pouch, but now they put these up at twice the price and they are incredibly ugly.

Bonsai Barber is supposed to be one of those games that just came out of nowhere and was surprisingly good but nobody played it anyway. I'm one of the nobody, though.

I've also been waiting for the reversible pouchs as well. Screw this Animal Crossing junk. I do have the Mario Hat pouch, though. I'm not sure if I want to spring for the Luigi one yet.

I did order the new Mario Accessory Box. I currently keep my Wii controllers in a basket. This will replace that.

Think it was made by Martin Hollis from Goldeneye fame, which really makes this even more "out of nowhere."

Number Battle is a great puzzle game, too bad I had already bought it. It's a shame that it has no local multiplayer, only online, and because of that it won't work after the nintendo wifi connection gets shut down in May. Still worth the 200 coins imo, never played online and had plenty of fun with it, there's a lot of variety in the single player mode

I think the Japanese version on the DS had local multiplayer, but that got removed from the localization on the DSi. It's on my "games to buy if I ever go to Japan" list

I emailed Nintendo about a month back asking for that Mario Accessory Box. They said they would forward the request to the appropriate department. Seems like they did.

I won't be using my XL charging cradles. Have a green one and a white one...both new.

How much would be a fair price for each...or both? And the Majora's Mask CD also.

Wii U eShop credit would be cool.

If you really are serious about it, I might actually take the white one off your hands.

Ugh the new shit they gave been adding gets more and more expensive.

Plus the games this month are weak sauce. Also wtf at 250 coins for a Wii game no matter how good it is!

FFS I hate you NOA.

I really want that accessory box, but I'm not sure I really need it. I do have a lot of remotes.

I really hope they put the cradles back up. I woke up too late to get a green one the day they put them up, and I thought the Zelda XL would look weird with any other color (except black, which I may get).

Of myths and monsters? I needed to complete the collection anyway (I already had Uprising as well as 3D Classics Kid Icarus because I preordered uprising so I was just missing OMaM). SO BOUGHT

Buy them from eBay or BST. If you're lucky you can find a barely used one for $10, which is cheaper than 250 points in usd (not to mention 500!)

Anyone had any luck getting an email response from Nintendo about the Pokemon promotion? It's been more than a week and I still haven't heard from them.

I've been waiting for freaking ages for an XL case...and I have an AC poptart XL so I buckled down and ordered this despite the steep coin-tag.

I'll post pics in here when it arrives if it's better (or worse) than expected.

Any shameful excuse for a human being who doesn't own Yoshi yet needs to
keep on waiting because it sure as hell ain't worth 200 coins

It is actually pretty fun, though I prefer busting out the Gameboy version on my GBA SP. Anyway, grabbed Kid Icarus GB. Seems to be roughly the same sort of game as the original except with infinite horizontal scrolling instead of a fixed screen. It's alright so far, but I sure hope there aren't any of those annoying maze-like dungeons from th first game.

It's worth the 30 cents I got it on sale for. 200 coins = LOL.

My Luigi's Mansion figure arrived in the mail today and that thing looks pretty neat. The new rewards this month are pretty eh. The basket looks neat but not 700 coins neat. Oh well, I couldn't afford it even if I wanted to. I think I am just going to go back to hoarding coins until whenever they offer something like the Luigi statue for a stupid amount of coins again.

The dungeon stages are awesome! (in KI, never played KI2)

freakin' eggplant wizards, man...

I think intend-to-buy games tend to be for physical games only. I can't recall the last time a digital-only game had one.

I picked up the basket the last time it was around and I use it. It's good for holding several of my controllers and a headset. Quality is good, sturdy canvas material for the walls, the graphics show no sign of flaking or wear.

10/10 would buy again.

Can someone explain to me how Platinum works? I just got to that level and the prizes don't seem to have changed all that much. Do they show up on another page other than the rewards section on club nintendo?

You have to wait until July 1st, as then the reward year will be over & then you have to wait for Nintendo to put the prizes up, to which you'll be able to choose which reward you'd like.

Is Kid Icarus as balls hard as the NES original? I'm too old for that shit.

I'm only on level 2-2 but so far it seems way easier. Restore points make getting good items from the bonus rooms easy, and the screen doesn't lock when you jump up so there aren't any cheap falling deaths. The only hard part has been the first boss, but that's mostly because of how many hits he takes.

Hmm nice, I might get this.
