US PSN 20th Anniversary Sale

Jeanne and idk my fourth or fifth purchase of Patapon. I don't understand what powers that game holds over me but I gotta replay it.

I have absolutely no clear idea as to why. On one hand it's definitely not the kind of game I was into when I first got my PS3 (when slims first came out) at all and I wasn't really following non-Nintendo (or really Western-made to some degree) gaming news in full force till a couple years later, so it might have slipped by me as a whole. I think at some point I actually knew and then a lot of talk on podcasts and such later on just associated it with the 360 for me for some bizarre reason. Or maybe I mixed it up with another game too. I'm probably more confused than you are.
 
OP has been updated again. I did the math myself to figure out the missing discounts.

Also removed games that were not part of this sale (Abyss Odyssey, The Witcher 3 expansion, etc....)

I'm fairly confident in saying that the OP now has the complete list along with correct prices.

This isn't the selection of games I would pick to honour the 20th anniversary of this system but this is the first time Vib-Ribbon has gone on sale, right? Definitely worth getting.

Vib-Ribbon plays great on PS3, can't really speak for PS2 games as I've yet to spend much time with one on PS3, nor can I for fighting games as I'm not really hardcore about them and I keep buying classic PSX fighting games but never bother playing them.

I think it is a much better starting place for a new player, though Dark Souls 1 is best of all. Demon's Souls (and to some extent Bloodborne) felt more like a cruel test of skill that only rewarded you when you "succeeded". But in Dark Souls 1 and 2 I was EXCITED to fail in a new and interesting way every time I died.

Although a small list for PS4 both Diablo and DS2 are calling me. Played Diablo when it first came out and played DS2 on PS3. Need to pick one or the other.
 
There are some older games here that I'd love to play. Can anyone tell me how good/bad Okami, Psychonauts and especially Wild Arms (I know the least about that one) are and if they're worth buying?

Wild ARMs is a really fun old-school JRPG with great music, excellent dungeon design and cool Zelda-like puzzle. For such a minuscule price you can't go wrong.
 
I'm considering buying Beyond Good & Evil HD ($2.00) with the $3.00 I've got left in my wallet. I never got the chance to play the original so this would be the first time I play it. Should I buy it?

Do it. Excellent action-adventure game with cool music. At $2 it's a steal.
 
Man I was hoping disgaea could be on sale. Just tried the demo for the 5th and now I want to play the 4th having passed it...

for $3.80. This is the best sale they've had for Vita since the first flash sale they had right after I got my Vita in February with a bunch of sub-$1 games. I have $6.53 left (along with dwindling space on my 32GB card) that I guess I'll sit on because I know PS4 won't have anything good in this sale.

Damn my vita backlog continues to grow. Will probably pick up mgs3 (this is the superior version with the 3rd person camera, right?), legacy of kain and maybe wild arms.

I really liked Valkyria Chronicles on PS3. How is the sequel? Even if it's only sort of fun it's only $5, but if it's total garbage I'd rather not spend the money.
