I should have posted this the other dayGreat movie ruined by weebs on 4chan.
The film dumbed down the story from the comic. These days you see a lot of people projecting whatever they want onto it.It was made in a different era
But even then we can look back with 20/20 vision and realize the media bias which is all too apparent today existed back then but was just much more subtle
Alan Moore, the original creator and writer of the comic book, criticized the movie for turning a story about totalitarian vs. anarchy set in Britain into American politics and he was right. The Wachowski Brothers are hacks who got lucky with the original The Matrix
We a legion. We do not forget. We do not forgive.Great movie ruined by weebs on 4chan.
My first thought was why a year out? Then I thought, if this has a year of momentum behind it, it will very likely that there is actually a crowd outside Westminster with those masks organised.
A year is a long time, will be interesting to see where we are. But like the Truman Show, this was way ahead of its time and ages like a fine wine.
You gonna meet me there bro? I'll be wearing a mask so you can spot meI think it's because in the film, V makes his speech to the nation one year before his plot. This trailer was dropped one year from release.
But if you see what I see, if you feel as I feel, and if you would seek as I seek, then I ask you to stand beside me one year from tonight, outside the gates of Parliament, and together we shall give them a fifth of November that shall never, ever be forgot.
The fact aht Hugo (the fucking agent Smith!) Weaving was able to covers so many emotions without showing his face in ANY moment is amazing.
