I always love Val Kilmer, no matter what. Dude is still the man. His cameo as the mad scientist on SNL was inspired. I want to see that role in a movie. Though I would prefer he hit the gym, but hey, the dude is getting older, probably not worried about being a sex symbol and all that. He's still that crazy cuckoo actor, and maybe this will widen his range of roles.

wait...is this some Inception shit re: the Lindsay Lohan thread? goddamnit...

I mean if you're going for pretty boys who are still pretty in their advancing age you probably shouldn't leave out Duchovny. Not that I'm going to go looking for Duchovny pics.

Honestly, after dating older womens for a few years (40-42), its lifestyle. Diet, skin care, activity. No surgery, I mean I'd meet some of her friends that looked like old women, then it would turn out they were her age. Same for the guys. Heading towards 30 next year, not sure If I passed my break in period yet... but I'm going to give it a shot.

Val Kimer ate those donuts to save you from the calories.

Show some goddamned respect.

lol.

Fat Val Kilmer could do another Jim Morrison biopic right now and he'd be in perfect shape for the role.

Ben Stiller is getting up there and he's very fit.

But he works very very hard for it. So while yall throw around "lifestyle" around you might as well tack on "intense" because they have to keep their game really tight to stay like that.

Meh, if George Clooney (and to a lesser extent Brad Pitt) didn't have a thick head of hair, and was balding like a typical guy his age, he wouldn't look anywhere near as good as he does.

These old guys with their hair just look good. It keeps them looking a bit more youthful, especially if they still maintain their diet/body, and have good style and money - which they do.

It's all about the hair.

Why does Val Kilmer need to be in perfect shape?

Dude is 52 years old and no longer getting huge movie roles. Let the dude eat some cheeseburgers and enjoy life.

Might as well throw Cary Elwes into the ring as well.

My wife was gaga for him circa The Princess Bride days.. she saw him in SAW and was more scared at what happened to Elwes metabolism than anything else in the movie.

Well . . . he's no longer getting big roles because he is fat. But there is nothing wrong with that. I'm sure he's got enough money. Let some new kids play in the sandbox.

I wont lie I haven't really watched anything with Val Kilmer...

but James.... I mean... Richard Dean.... where did you go wrong?!

Though he was pretty whalish(tm) in Stargate Universe in his cameo's... Beluga'd on me...

Kilmer was amazing back in the day.

My personal favorite (Real Genius)

My two favorite roles of his as well; Real Genius is amazing. Kilmer has always had such great comic timing. And he did all his own singing in Top Secret!.

I wish Kilmer's career had gone better; it was punctuated by greatness such as Heat, but not often enough. Remarkable actor, sad to see his current shape.

Oh come on. He can't complain at all. Comedies like Real Genius & Top Secret. Biopic with the Doors. Popcorn flicks like Top Gun. And he got to be the fucking Batman.

I'd also give the drama The Salton Sea a recommendation. Gritty meth drama.

What a weird strange film that is. Good though. And Val was skinny too:

Hi, I'm Axl Rose. You may remember me from bands such as Guns N' Roses and whatever that band that put out Chinese Democracy was.

By 'gone better', I meant continued with that kind of success. Post mid-90's, his success were far less frequent. I read he was frustrated with the roles he was offered; he wanted to do more comedy.

Richard Dean Anderson supposedly had a LOT of injuries to his legs and back in his youth, and they caught up with him, and he needed a number of major surgeries while SG1 was filming, but he put them off and just took painkillers for years because he knew he'd be out of commission if he had the procedures done, and he didn't want to let it get in the way of the show.

After SG1, he went in for back surgery and was bedridden for months. Staying good-looking is not a priority in his recovery plans.

Nah man, it's more fun to make fun of aging people.
